Review of Lulu California Bistro

ahhh!! so good! restaurant is now definitely celiac safe (it appears it wasn't always). this was my third time eating here (each time for a celebration of some sort). we booked a table here for my mom's 60th birthday. we both have celiac disease. these guys made a whole gf flourless chocolate cake for my mom with her name and happy birthday on it and berries to decorate. they were so pleasant to work with to plan the surprise. when we were ordering dinner, our kind server didn't know enough about celiac disease to place our order (dont worry-the kitchen does) and sent a manager over right away to reassure us and take our order. he told us the pizza is totally safe (we all know that's not always true everywhere!) and their gf pasta is prepared in separate water. we had the potato leek soup and the vegetable pizza. felt great after eating and still do. the manager and server checked in with us at least 5 times to make sure we were feeling good and doing ok! absolute highest recommendation!!!
