We stumbled on this place looking for breakfast and we were so pleasantly surprised! Food was delicious and service was great. Menu was clearly identified and most items were gluten free, and the ones that weren’t could easily be modified. The waffle and breakfast burrito was a 10! AND no wait on a Sunday for breakfast!!

The hostess/shift supervisor (Kalen?) told us this restaurant is “definitely not the place for anyone with a gluten allergy, only a no-gluten preference” and tried to refer us to another restaurant. She said most meals are made in a shared space and especially the gluten free breads are all prepared in a glutened space. She conveyed clearly that it was better that we leave and that there wasn’t anything they routinely did to avoid cross contamination.

It's a healthy-eating restaurant which is usually easier for me to pick from. I'm gluten and dairy free.

Was assured most of the menu is gluten free. Ordered the yellow curry bowl. Ended up getting sick.

After eating there last night my husband became sick. He was definitely glutened. We had our server warn the kitchen that my husband and son had Celiac, but there was still cross contamination.

Great find for healthy gluten free celebration of foods. Atmosphere is upbeat and staff is very friendly. Oh! and all the desserts are gluten free.

WARNING: New take out containers are made out of wheat. Manager checked manufacturer's website and although the products are "gluten free" because they test under federal government standards, they are still made of wheat and contain traces of gluten. These take out containers are NOT Celiac friendly.

One of my favorite options in Charlotte for gluten-free, healthy food. Lots of vegan options and nearly everything is gluten-free. The service can be hit or miss but overall a wonderful place. I'm glad Charlotte has a place like this! The Fire and Brimstone burger is great, and portions are pretty generous.

I absolutely adore Luna's Living Kitchen. I had their pad thai with their freshly made ginger ale! I absolutely adore it and go there when I need a special pick-me-up. It's also my fave for a birthday lunch. They have freshly made smoothies and turmeric booster shots. Definitely worth the trip!

I read all these great reviews so I went to check it out. Being vegan and gluten free I was excited. I ordered the avocado &a basil sandwich on gluten free bread. It came to the table and looked amazing. I took a giant bite and it tasted just as it looked. Well as I'm eating my sandwich the server comes over to tell me he made a mistake and I wasn't eating gluten free bread. He apologized and asked me if I would like it remade. I reminded him that I had an allergy and was trying to not freak out. He took the plate and the manager came over. She apologize and said she would take care of my meal and that was it. I told the server I was getting nauseas and needed something to settle my stomach. I ordered a smoothie. He then gave me my bill. I'm not sure I will go back to this place.

Majority of menu is GF. Sandwiches can be made one with collard green wrap. I had one and it was great. Would definitely go back.
This place is SO fabulous for anyone who is GF or Vegan or even not. All the food is absolutely delicious and you feel great about eating any and everything because it's all raw and fresh. There is literally only one or two things total on the whole menu I couldn't eat which is AWESOME.

Breakfast was awesome. Loved the "bagel and cream cheese ". The home made chai with coconut milk alone was worth the price of admission! If I was local I'd be a regular. I'm not a vegan, but with the triple allergies of gluten, dairy, and eggs, it is so nice to eat safe and have a lot of options! Loved it!
Everything on the menu is gluten free but the bread. I ordered the Vietnam pho and avocado basil sandwich with a collard greens wrap. They were both AMAZING!!

Very good. My husband categorized it as "foofy" and, indeed, most of the men looked like they had been dragged there. However, I thought the food was delicious and creative. He thought the iced tea was the best he'd ever had. We strolled down the tracks to the farmers market after lunch and got blackberries, peaches, and a cast iron turtle.

Super accommodating! I love Luna's! Just tell them you're a celiac.

Amazing food. Everything on the menu is gf except bread for the sandwiches, and portion sizes were good.

The staff is well trained (and won't look at you like you have 3 heads if you avoid other foods too). Just give them a heads up that you are celiac since it is a shared kitchen.
The food was delicious -I had the pad Thai.
The only reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is a vegetarian restaurant and I am someone that really needs my protein.

Great place! Love all the gluten free & raw options. It's nice to find a place where you can eat safely and feel full after. We had the Living Bagel- highly recommend!

Great local place for food! Raw, plant based menu.
I had the Lunasagna and it was amazing!!! Homemade vegan salad dressing was delicious. Even my skeptical husband enjoyed his vegan chili.
I'll be back for more of their great menu!
