Went here on our honeymoon. The wait staff doesn’t have a gluten free menu but does know what you can and cannot order. I had the signature almond crusted grouper. FANTASTIC. They said they can make a few of the fish options gluten free and almost all of the steak options.

I was nervous based on the previous reviews, but we had a fantastic experience! The wait staff was extremely knowledgeable about celiac and I had lots of options to chose from. Didn’t get sick at all!

This was my second time as a Celiac here (been here 17 years prior with no issues). The first time they served me an item without the gluten ingredients removed (I discovered it and quickly made them aware). Well wouldn’t you know I shouldn’t have given them another chance because the same thing happened last night. With a steak nonetheless. The plate came garnished with fried onion string (wasn’t listed in the description and I had made it very clear that I have Celiac disease and needed to be aware of cross contamination concerns as I get sick for weeks with the slightest exposure). I brought it to the servers attention and he returned shortly later with the SAME steak telling me the they put it back on the grill so it is safe now. WHAT??? Completely unacceptable. I spoke to the manager and informed them that I wouldn’t be eating anything else as I completely lost faith that they understood my disease. Not only did it ruin my night but the other family members with me while we were celebrating a birthday.

Delicious food but not many gluten free choices. Mashed potatoes have flour in it. Grouper salmon chicken steak could be made gluten free and French fries .

Incredible meal at Madame Janette’s. The staff was very knowledgeable about gluten allergies. We had a reservation and mentioned a gluten allergy when we booked. All the staff were aware of the allergy when we arrived and made sure I had a great meal. Would highly recommend.
