First question the hostess asked was “are there any dietary restrictions”. After she found out I was celiac, she alerted my waiter and the chef. My waiter and the chef came to the table together and answered menu questions for me very clearly explaining what could be made gf and the care they would take.
I decided on their chicken parmigiana which they coat in gf kettle cooked potato chips instead of traditional breading. It was delicious! I also got gf pasta with Alfredo sauce and it was also delicious. After I had the crème brûlée which is the only gf dessert and not something I would typically order but it was dynamite.
Not a ton of gf variety however it was delicious and I felt so comfortable with the care they took. Definitely will be coming back!
not a great experience. my servers were not knowledgeable. not many options other than gluten free pasta. i was advised by my waiter to get the spaghetti and meatballs and sub the pasta and he said he would check if the meatball and meat sauce was gf and never came back. then when i was served i double checked with the waitress bringing our food and the meatballs aren’t gf and she had to take it back.
This place was wonderful! The chef even came out to my table to ensure me he made my meal himself to ensure it was GF and no cross contamination. And our waiter was just as knowledgeable and helpful..GF pasta dish was excellent!! I recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.
I used to LOVE Maggiano’a prior to my diagnosis! I would always get the rigatoni D...which is delicious. Well, needless to say, I haven’t been in a long time. We have family in town and decided to go after researching and hearing that they do a great job with food allergies. Oh my goodness! The staff was fantastic - from front desk who answered the phone to our waiter. Chef Sanchez came out to speak to me without me requesting it and then returned midway through my meal preparation to clarify how he was making a sauce for me! He was dealing with Celiac plus and egg AND corn allergy so it wasn’t just about substituting their gf pasta (it’s corn based) and adding one of their amazing gf pasta sauces. He loved the challenge and created my dish from scratch, taking extreme care with every component. My dish was BEYOND DELICIOUS and I felt so safe. I would highly recommend it and will absolutely go back. As much as I loved my rigatoni D, this was without a doubt an upgrade! Plus no pain, bloating, or feeling like I need a 6 hour nap after a heavy pasta dish 😆 Vegas Celiac friends, if you haven’t been, Maggiano’s in Downtown Summerlin is a little heaven 💕
The manager came over to explain their menu - anything can be made GF! I took this to mean any sauce can be made GF, and it along with naturally GF ingredients could be prepared with GF pasta. This appears accurate. Delicious! Also the creme brûlée was amazingly. I was prepared to be underwhelmed but they were great.
