My favorite gluten free place. So many options and all easy to read on their very large menu.
Alittle disappointed, order the garbage burger with the gluten free bun, server cam back and apologized they were out of gluten free buns, ok no big deal, so he suggested to get it with a lettuce wrap so I did. When I received my burger there was 2 small lettuce pieces on it as a wrap. Needless to say I had to eat it with a knife and fork. The burger tasted so good it made up for not having the bun. And the fries are made in a dedicated fryer so that's a plus too.
Seriously our favorite place! GF chicken tenders are amazing. I’ve also tried pasta which was pretty good. I’m not a huge fan of cheese so the burger bun isn’t my favorite, but love that it’s homemade and I don’t mind getting the burger lettuce wrapped.
I was so excited to eat here after reading all these amazing reviews, which I am shocked they have. It was awful! I'm normally a nice person but the service was terrible, the food is overpriced and disgusting. The "nachos" didn't even have cheese on them, and the gf pizza I ordered was burned to the pan... I literally had to scrape it off. I also asked for a cup of coffee (which I never got) but yet they still tried to charge me for it. Mcfly's was a Mcflop!
My new favorite place. Dedicated area for prep. Great food and great service!
The burger with the gluten bun is absolutely amazing! Their knowledge of gluten-free and service is fantastic. However, I have to tell you that the bulk of the food is super sweet and taste sugary/sweet. The burgers are not included in that generalization. Probably one of the best burgers I've ever had!
Overall great place for anyone but a jackpot for people who have Celiac disease. Plenty to choose from on the menu prepared separately, dedicated fryer.
I'm not used to having so many options; they even have gf desert! awesome food too!
AMAZING! So many choices, separate fryer, cocktail menu too. Awesome awesome awesome. Been twice in one week!
Many delicious choices to consider from a massive menu. Chedder buns add a chewy delicious compliment to a variety of burgers and sandwiches. Locally sourced meat, veggies, and brews are a plus. GF dessert option are also offered.
Last time I went here, I got glutened. They used to be so careful with my food, but lately with management changes, things have gone downhill. Would not recommend going here...best to go down the street to Evergreen Walk where they have multiple restaurants safe for Celiacs
Very allergy friendly and knowledgeable staff! Good food too
So many gluten free options. The GF bun was great and I had a tasty sandwich and fries with no issues at all.
They claim to have gluten-free options on the menu but don't count on them being there all the time. Three times over the last six months they have been out of their gluten-free buns and sandwich bread. That eliminates a lot of the items on their menu. Follow up 2/10/18 ---- manager has said they would order extra GF buns, and they have been in stock the past 3 visits. Their GF hamburger bun has cheese in it and is the best I have found. The fries are cooked in a dedicated GF frier.
We just left Maggie McFly's. I ordered a chicken salad that was listed as GF if the Asian marinade was left off the chicken. I asked over and over if the dish was safe. As soon as I took a bite I could taste the marinade. When I questioned the waitress she was clueless. A manager came over to apologize and tell me they were making me a new salad. I told her no thanks. They took the salad off the bill and offered a $15 gift card to come back. That should make up for my being sick for the next three days.
has the most options for gluten-free than most restaurants
locally baked Brazilian cheese bread... locally baked gluten free cupcakes... absolutely delicious sandwich combos... great sweet potato fries, cooked in a dedicated fryer... these guys care about those who need to eat gluten free. the staff is awesome, the food is awesome, and the atmosphere is fun. you can't go wrong here!
Totally messed up the order multiple times. They brought me a regular pizza when I requested gluten-free. Twice. Not that I asked twice, I mean they did it twice. Go to Harry's in Glastonbury instead.
Fantastic first experience. Went last night, server very knowledgeable about celiac and gluten free. Recommended some items, mentioned they had a dedicated fryer. Everything is pretty clear on the menu. When I asked for a separate ketchup (one on table was a twist top which can be contaminated), they apologized and thanked me for educating them on things that could be cross-contaminated that they haven't thought about. Went in the back to get me ketchup out of a brand new tub. Not an inconvenience at all to me, but server and manager apologized and gave me 20% off my bill and a gift card for next time. Will definitely return!!!
The first time was excellent but unfortunately my past experiences have not been the same. Pro- HUGE gf menu Con- past two times I experienced negative side effects of cross contamination. I am not rushing back.
very good options for gluten free.
Maggie McFlies is awesome for understanding what "gluten" is. They will bring out a GF menu, and walk you through what is and isn't gluten free. They will clean off the grill for you and have a frier for GF French fries. This place is the best!
They do have a large menu, but the food is generally underwhelming. Nothing seems to be particularly stand-out. Additionally, take care to double check your meals. I ordered a gluten free sandwich, and it was brought to me with fried onion bits which were by no means gluten-free. Unfortunately I didn't notice until I was more than halfway through the sandwich. They handled it decently, comped my meal, plenty of apologies all around, but that doesn't really make up for a night at home, sick. Overall, they have a large selection, it's a convenient location, but the food is generally underwhelming.
Large gluten free menu. Many choices and potential substitutions. They need more desserts on the menu, but overall lots of choices. Have eaten here three times, but tonight I got glutened. I didn't even make it out the door and the cramps started. Not sure if it was because they were crowded. I did identify myself as having celiac.
I always get excited when a restaurant offers Gf appetizers. I was worried because I read a review for another location that said they use one fryer, but it clearly states in this location on the menu & I confirmed w manager that they do have a dedicated Gf fryer. The menu is overwhelming but has a lot of gf options. I only ordered potato skins and they are huge! See pic.
