This place is amazing. They have 2 different kitchen and pretty much everything on their menu can be made safely gluten free. Wait staff was fantastic & service wonderful. I ordered a white pizza with ham & zucchini - yummy. I also ordered arrincini (Italian rice balls) which I have not had since 2015. They were fantastic. Two other couple were with us and ordered non gf food and raved about their too.
Amazing service by Alex and the GF Margherita pizza and GF Carbonara pasta were delicious 😋
Had one of the best GF pizzas I tried in Italy here (just a basic margarita - if they can do that well, they can do anything!) plus some lovely broccoli leaves in garlic. They have two kitchens so everything is very safe and completely free of cross-contamination, everything on the menu can be made fully GF.
i felt safe eating here as they have a gf kitchen and well trained staff. however, don’t come here expecting authentic italian food - this place has more of a chain-restaurant vibe. my pizza was really good and i felt good after, but some gluten eaters in my family were kind of disappointed with the meal!
Best food I’ve ever had! Ordered the Bruschetta and Lasagna. You know it’s good when it tastes real! Separate kitchens and separate dishes! Absolutely incredible and we will be back again probably multiple times before we leave!
So good. Aperol spritz was perfecto. Has a Caesar salad cause needed a carb break. Was really good. Nice place. Off from the loud area. Nice and chill. Amazing with allergies and GF.
A nice restaurant a little away from the hustle, separate kitchen where everything on the menu can be prepared gf. You will also be asked about other allergies and intolerances. My pizza and arancini were good👍🏼. My dad had the hamburger, which was unfortunately a bit carelessly prepared😬.
My partner and I had already been to a Mama Eats in Rome and loved it. This was the same experience in Florence. Great staff and a wide range of options. My friend who I was with even enjoyed all the gluten free options. We had the arancini to start and it was amazing, so creamy and delicious. We then both had pizzas for our main. It was the biggest gluten free pizza I have ever had. So good! Definitely worth a visit when in Rome or Florence!
I ate here twice and loved it!! The food was delicious and it feels very safe. They have separate preparation areas for gluten free and are AIC accredited. The gf food comes out on a colored plate, while the normal food is on white dishes. The first night, the servers were not as knowledgeable about other allergies, but the second night, she asked immediately if I had any allergies and was very helpful. The lasagne and tiramisu are the best I’ve had!! Note- they use gluten free wheat starch. Allergen menu is on their website.
Great place for lunch or dinner. We had lunch there two days in a row. They are so careful and the first thing they ask when seating are about your allergies. The restaurant was full of gf eaters both days we had lunch. The pizza was best I’ve ever had and the mozzarella cheese sticks were delicious. It’s also a good value for the price. And I felt totally safe eating there.
It’s hard to please my non GF family and feed my Celiac. Mama Eat did both. We ordered gluten free appetizers- mozzarella sticks, Caesar salad, mini pizzas and Scugnizzielli - fried GF dough with fresh tomatoes and parmigian cheese. My husband had a fantastic GF house beer. It was all fantastic! Alex our waiter was so pleasant, as were his colleagues. My only regret is that I didn’t order an espresso. Highly recommend Mama Eat.
Delicious!!!!! The GF option was equally as good as the non GF option.
Great Pizza (I think the best gluten-free we‘ve ever had), delicious pastas and the dessert are also so good! Everything gluten free comes on dedicated plates and they have separate ovens for the pizza! Everything on the menu can be ordered gluten free.. The service is very nice, a must visit when in Milan…
