Review of Mama Eat

Via Giulio Cesare Procaccini, 32, 20154 Milano MI, Italy

Amazing food and the entire menu can be made gluten free. They have two separate kitchens, one for gluten free food and another for regular food. It was so reassuring to have them come out to the table with your food and verify my meal was made gluten free. I felt safe eating here immediately. The worst part of the experience was that it was difficult to decide what to eat because there are so many options! I'm used to having a half dozen or less options to choose from, not the entire menu. A bit of paradise for someone with CD.

The pizza was amazing and the crust was better then many regular pizza crusts I've had pre celiac diagnosis. My husband who isn't GF couldn't tell the difference. I can see why the place followed l filled up quickly during the lunch hour. Be aware that you may have to sit a bit to get service because this is a very popular restaurant. It's worth having the patience to eat a safe meal.

The server let us know that they are opening another restaurant in Florence and in Rome. We'll definitely be visiting next time we're in Italy.
