After reading the great reviews, we were excited about the pasta options. We got there early and our sever was initially very attentive although told us that the gnocchi and polpette with buckwheat was definitely not gluten free. He said he checked in the kitchen and confirmed. The vibe was great and drinks were nice also.
The buratta appetizer with fig and thin sliced ham was delicious as was the non gf spaghetti with pesto. Our gf diner chose the special shrimp and mushroom entree with the boxed gf penne. The sauce was too thin for a standard boxed gf pasta and served with 5 medium size shrimp for €38.
Also, as the restaurant got busier, we didn’t see our server for about 30 minutes, water ran out, a side dish was forgotten, etc.
I think the issues we faced were that server more than the restaurant but did take away from an otherwise lovely evening.
Great experience
Nice Italian place in Paris with decent pricing.
We made a reservation online for dinner, and mentioned I eat glutenfree (there was a box). On the menu nothing glutenfree was marked so we asked. The waiter was very attentive and explained there was an option for glutenfree pasta and which of the dishes could be made glutenfree or were gf. (He spoke french and english). I had a fresh salad to start and the pasta pesto with stracciatella. Both really delicious and freshly made.
The seating area inside and outside were lovely. Food came out fast. Great experience overall. Very much would recommend
A fantastic dinner for our last night in Oaris. We ate outside on the patio next to the koi pond and the food and atmosphere amazing. All of the pasta could be made gluten free, and the gnocchi entree which I had was already gluten free. All of the salads were also GF. My celiac son loved the polpette (meatballs) and polenta. A perfect evening.
I loved this restaurant!! The people were so nice and the gluten free pasta was amazing!! I got the carciofi e limone pasta and it was the best pasta I have had in a long time! They can make any of the pasta plates gluten free by subbing for gluten free penne, so there were a lot of options. The servers were very knowledgeable and helpful!
Ok but I had the best meal of my Europe trip here!!! I ordered the Rigatoni Norma but the rigatoni was replaced with a gluten free penne pasta. IT WAS AMAZING.
The waiter didn’t speak much English, however, he definitely understood the importance of the dish being gluten free. With every dish brought to the table, he announced it was gluten free and when he brought a bread basket for my non gf husband, he told me I couldn’t have it. We also ordered an entree (ham and mozzarella) which was great!
Fabulous Italian restaurant with great friendly and knowledgeable staff. Wonderful gluten free pastas on request and some desert choices. Great wine list of Italian wines. Outdoor courtyard is quiet and away from the road. Vegetarian choices. Allergens menu displayed on website and available on request but our waiter talked through everything with us. They require your credit card details if you book online. They send you an email to request your cc details and you have two hours to respond or you lose your booking. Worth the bureaucracy for the great food etc.
The other reviews nailed this place on the head! This restaurant is delicious and very accommodating to allergies- I have a nut allergy along with celiac disease, and they carefully explained the menu and went over what I could have, and what pastas could be made safe for me! Very lovely staff, and an incredible atmosphere make this place great for the celiacs and the average patron as well.
My friend found this Place and it was wonderful! They had several plates they could make gluten free. They tell you when you order that it takes 25 minutes to make the gluten free pasta, but it’s 100% worth it. I had the fusilli alla crudaiola and an aperol spritz. Amazing!
At little more expensive that other places I France, but it’s worth it. I felt very safe there and I felt like they knew what they were doing. They also spoke good english
