Update: This restaurant is closed. I will miss the pizza - best GF crust of any I've had.
dinner on a weekend night at this restaurant earlier this month based on the recommendation from a fellow celiac sufferer that worked in the area. They have gluten free pasta and pizza crust on the menu. My dining companion and I ate in the bar area. Although their menu doesn't show which items might be GF, the bartender was knowledgeable about items on the menu I might be able to eat or transform to eat. Some salads and entrees, including one of the specials were options. The food was really good. They didn't have any desserts on the menu that were GF, but the owner, Tony, made up a big batch of cream and strawberries for us to share. (You might want to give them warning if you want something like that.) The place was packed by the time we left, with people waiting for seats, so obviously a popular destination with the locals. 10/23/15 update: Frequently eaten here and haven't had a reaction to the food yet. Just waiting for the gluten-free dessert menu to come out though.
This place had no clue. "Gluten is just wheat right? There's no wheat in the bread." I did not feel well after this meal. It's too bad because they have good food, just not safe for celiacs. No true GF menu either. Should have walked away.
No
New chef. Great entrees especially fish or shellfish. Usually have at least one special that is GF or can be adapted. Great capresse salad. Needs more GF desserts; only flan is GF. I have eaten there quite a few times and never had a reaction. 10-17-14 Update: they are trying to carry a dessert now. Yeah!
