Maria’s is my go to place I follow AIP diet (autoimmune diet) They have so many gluten free soy free dairy free options. Knowledgeable staff that goes above and beyond to accommodate all my dietary needs
Ask for GF chips when you are seated! The majority of the menu can be made GF and each item is served with a cute little GF flag. The kitchen takes various cross contact protocols to ensure safety. I’ve been here multiple times with no issues!!
Absolutely incredible! Ate at Maria’s this afternoon and shared with my family gf empanadas, enchiladas, quesadillas and Cuban quesadillas. All delicious and gluten safe! Will be back!

Got sick after eating here. Explained Celiac’s to waiter and called and spoke to hostess when making reservation. Very unfortunate!!
Service can be slow and it does get very crowded but the food is safe and absolutely delicious.
Unfortunately my experience at Maria's was not as good as others here. I have eaten here once before and tested the food with my Nima gluten tester which came back negative for gluten and I had no issues (At that time I had the rice and beans and some sort of veggie). On my second visit here the rice & beans and cheese tested negative for gluten but the shrimp fajitas (without tortilla) and maduros (sweet plantains) tested positive for containing gluten. Unfortunately I did have one bite of the shrimp before the test result came back and I am a bit sick today. (I had ordered from the gluten free menu and let the waiter know I had celiac/gluten issues before ordering.) With the shrimp fajitas I only tested the shrimp and it's sauce with the chopped cilantro/greens on top. The maduros also had cilantro/chopped greens on them, they say they use a separate fryer so I'm not sure what the issue was. I hope the owner will figure out what the source was and correct it. I'm a very sensitive celiac so you will have to use your own judgment since I see many celiacs say they had no issues here. The rice and beans tested negative for gluten on both visits. The margaritas however were delicious.
Wow what an experience! I had the shrimp fajitas and they were to die for. They were able to make their chilli vegetarian for me and it was absolutely delicious. The best part of it all, is their giant and extensive gluten free menu. They have a dedicated kitchen space and the staff is very understanding. They even placed a little GF flag on my dish and brought it out separately.

I have eaten here over a dozen times they are by far the most educated of ALL places in my area. I have celiac disease and this is a no stress zone for me. I even spoke to the owner because I was a frequent patron prior to diagnosis and she informed me of their awareness.
