We’re so glad we discovered Mariposa Baking Company during our stay in San Francisco! We ended up going there every morning for breakfast over the course of our five-day trip. The gluten-free options are outstanding, and we couldn’t get enough of their delicious baked goods. From pastries to breakfast items, everything is top-notch. We’ll definitely be stocking up on goodies before heading home. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. A must-visit for anyone, especially those with dietary restrictions!
The bakery closes at 4pm, so make sure you get there before then! Too tasty to miss out on 😊 From the site: SF Ferry Building Bakeshop One Ferry Building, Suite 32, San Francisco, CA 94111 Tel: 415-445-9860 SF Bakeshop Hours Sunday thru Friday 10-4 Saturday 9-4
Heaven! A must stop when in San Francisco. So much to choose from! I wish they had a stand in the SF airport so we could get items on our way back home. Unfortunately they said the breads and bagels would not last more than two days without freezing. Would be so nice to pick up a couple loaves of challah and rosemary rolls, bagels etc. when at the airport heading home. 😁
Wonderful dedicated bakery with so many gluten-free treats! I ate a warmed-up ham, cheese and olive spiral outside, watching the seagulls play by the water. It was incredible — rich and buttery yet not too heavy. A perfect breakfast. The muffins were also nice, and my husband enjoyed the cinnamon roll, pain au chocolat and traditional croissant. (The chocolate croissant was his favorite.)
Went here for 2 mornings that we were there and I wish they could follow me around. The food is all gluten free and majority is dairy free also. Everything has an allergy card on it which is amazing and it all tasted great !!! I had a chocolate chip cookie, apple cinnamon pie, bacon and egg cooked roll and a cinnamon bun (not all on the same day)
Make sure you visit whilst in SF! IT IS AMAZING and a 100% GF artisan bakery. We are talking GF buttermilk biscuits, pain au chocolates, croissants, cinnamon rolls, soft pretzels, cakes, cookies, etc. Everything I had was excellent and had the perfect texture. I will always make it a priority to visit here.
I almost tear up a little after having their cinnamon rolls, best GF ones I’ve ever had. I really like their pastries as well, the pain au chocolate is pretty good (make sure to warm it first). I get my sandwich bread from here, I like it cause it’s regular sized, not those tiny ones you find at the supermarket.
Such a good place to visit-the only problem is all the delicious things in front of you and you can’t choose which ones to have. I highly recommend the hot breakfast sandwich it was so good. And the cinnamon rolls. All the things I had from here were nice though and as a tourist it’s great to be able to get snacks to have on the go without having to try and find safe places to eat all the time. Will be visiting again next time back over from the U.K. next year
Not celiac or gluten free myself. My partner is and he loves the cinnamon rolls here, I do too. Highly recommend.
Best gluten-free cinnamon roll ever (sorry mom!). Great selection of baked goods and fresh sandwiches (warm and cold options). We returned to San Francisco one day before our return flight just to go there again. 🥰 Big recommendation. I was very happy to have such a large and safe selection!
Bought a spanakopita. Took a bite out of it. They wouldn’t warm it up even in the foil so I had to give it away. I found that incredibly rude. Everything has xanthan gum, which is nasty. Wouldn’t go here again. Also, incredibly slow service. And everything has a lot of sugar. Boo they’re rude
Fantastic selection of bakery products and sandwiches. The best selection we’ve ever seen and all 100% gluten free.
I love how everything is gluten free and delicious. I especially like the cinnamon rolls.
