Review of Matteo's Osteria

I ordered the seared ahi with risotto which was indicated as GF on the menu. I mentioned to the waitress that I was celiac and she told me she would advise the kitchen so that they would be extra careful with cross contamination. Before eating my entree I tested my food with the Nima sensor. The first test came back with "gluten found" so I tested again to make sure that this was not an error. The second test came back with "gluten found". I advised the waitress of the situation and she apologized and checked with the chef. The waitress came back and told me that that the chef explained that is normal that this can happen because they manipulate a lot of flour and bread in the kitchen so that contamination can occur. If you are celiac like me, be advised that you are taking risks if you eat at this restaurant.
