Excellent GF toast and the food was great. Highly recommend!
Gave my daughter reg pancakes instead of the gluten- free ones choc chip ones she needed, was sick all night!! The staff didn't care
Went here for lunch and had a great experience. They give large portions of food so you definitely will not leave feeling hungry. The have gluten free bread (for sandwiches), waffles, pancakes, and French toast. Their fries are said to be cooked separately. Everything is prepared separate from non-gf food as well. No problems with cross contamination/getting sick. Highly recommend if you are looking for plenty of gluten free options!
I love this place I've been going here since the restaurant opened the staff is amazing. I get multiple gluten free items here a week and have never had a problem. The grilled cheese is highly recommended.
Their gf pancakes and waffles are cooked in different part of kitchen to reduce cross contamination risk, which I highly appreciate! However, they did not taste very good. If you are in the area and desperate for a gf breakfast then go, otherwise cook at home it will taste better.
I hold a very high standard for gluten free breakfasts because at home we make gluten free versions of pancakes and waffles better then any pancake house in NJ glutenfree or gluten. It blows me away how bad some places gluten free versions of breakfast are. So we sat down at the Maywood pancake house and once we looked at the menu we felt we were here before. Then we realized this is a chain that is also located in Rutherford and Morristown but they use the city to make a different name on the business. There gluten free versions of pancakes , bread, and waffles are a lazy attempt. For some reason they decided to make them vegan as well which only makes them dry and unenjoyable. Glutenfree does not have to be vegan. Trade Joes has better gluten free bread now. And bisquick GF tastes way better then this chains pancakes. I do not recommend this chain of pancake houses if you want to enjoy your food. if you are starving and have no other options then this works. Also money is not an issue for me when it comes to breakfast but I should mention this place is not cheap if money is a concern. They need to completely re due their GF menu .
Fantastic options! I had the GF French toast. It looked subpar compared to my brothers challah, but it was surprisingly sweet and flavorful. The breakfast potatoes were amazing. And the decor is so cute. Only things I wasn't wild about were the small potion sizes, the wait time, and the sausage (it was thick). I will go back!
Very knowledgable and so many gluten free options on the menu! Delicious food as well
