Our daughter has a gluten allergy. We recently read McAlister's had GF bread. Unfortunately, this McAlister's did not because they only sell selected items. The employees were great. They made us lettuce wrap sandwiches & gave us a discount because of the inconvenience. Although they don't have a large selection of GF items they tried to be accommodating.
I came here because it was on all the lists as having gluten free options. The manager handed me a xeroxed gf menu and then said we really don't have anything you can eat here unless you want to try a potato. We left since she wasn't really interested in our gf business.

Newer location with indoor and outdoor (both covered & uncovered) seating. Offer GF bread. The BLTA is a good choice. Both nachos are legal as long as you omit chili. Top with grilled chicken or the ham are both good substitutes. Most of the potatoes are legal, except for the one with beefsteak.

I called this restaurant to see if they had gluten-free available. They said they have gluten-free bread, but none of their deli meat is gluten-free. That does not make sense to me!
They are willing to change gloves when handling gf sandwich bread. Always our go to place!

I had a gluten free sandwich and the bread was good. It was soft and didn’t fall apart. There also salads and baked potatoes that are gluten free. The menu has an icon to show which items are gluten free. None of the soups or desserts are gluten free, sadly.
