Served by the General Manager. Very helpful and knowledgeable. Made sure to label everything as an allergy. Spoke to kitchen staff. Made sure I knew it was a shared kitchen but they remove the breads and clean down and change gloves before preparing my food (with new food to avoid prior cross contamination.)

In general, we enjoy McAlister's Deli. Their Nutritionix menu is super helpful for filtering options by allergen. The staff on this shift didn't seem very knowledgeable on soup ingredients (i.e., fire roasted veggie soup contains pasta -- they didn't know that!) hence the 3 rating.
If you don't know something with regards to food ingredients, just say "I'm not sure" and carefully look. Don't just make up an answer!
From VA visiting the area. Loved their baked potatoes. Precaution was take.

I had a gluten free sandwich and the bread was good. It was soft and didn’t fall apart. There also salads and baked potatoes that are gluten free. The menu has an icon to show which items are gluten free. None of the soups or desserts are gluten free, sadly.

Excellent sandwiches on gluten-free bread that didn’t get soggy!

Absolutely amazing. They asked if it were an allergy or preference and when I told them I had celiacs they immediately told the kitchen. These sandwiches are amazing. The bread is so good. Highly recommended.
