Review of Meals From the Heart Cafe

This place delivered on so many levels I’m not even sure where to start. Let me just say that the previous reviews were right on or didn’t gush enough about this place.

I have celiac so it is important for me to do a place that is GF. I ate here with my wife and had no issues. I got the poached egg and GF crab cake and it was the best crab cake I’ve ever had (including non-GF). I also ordered the cheesy grits and they were very tasty. Wish we could’ve also eaten the Okra Gumbo but just too much food.

As a side note the owners’ son sat and chatted with us and the waitresses were very friendly and Celiac knowledgeable. We’ll definitely be completely by back here tomorrow or during future visits.

Updated (4/26/18) - Returned today for another round of the Poached Egg with Crab Cake and an extra crab cake. Just as good as yesterday and will have to return for every future visit.
