I am gluten intolerant, not Celiac.

This is my go to spot for breakfast in the neighborhood. I love their potatoes! Super tasty! There are a good amount of choices, including GF French toast, which is really good. Being able to get a side of GF toast with my egg dishes is really nice too. I prefer this spot over Yolk South Loop on weekends since Meli is much less crowded and quieter. I've never had a problem here and recommend if you are gluten intolerant.

This is not a gluten free restaurant. They are gluten FRIENDLY.

I went there because I thought it was gluten free but when I went through my allergies, they told me they were not a gluten free kitchen. So, the only thing I could get was a salad because the chef was able to wash out the bowl.

If you have a gluten allergy, this is not the place for you. Very deceptive advertising.

It's amazing! Oh my, I can't say enough good things about this place!! The GF pancakes are so good! They are some of the best pancakes I've ever had, even comparing them to non-GF varieties. The presentation, service and flavor are top notch. It's a must visit before you leave Chicago!

Had gf crepes. The staff did not seem to understand the seriousness of food allergies. Three different people gave me three different sets of ingredients for the crepes. My son (tree nut allergy) didn't feel good after eating here. I gave him benedryl. I would be very cautious.

Made me feel really sick and they asked if it was a serious allergy and I replied with yes and I still got super sick I got the crepes and a friend got the French toast both gluten free and we did not feel good after but overall good service but besides that not very good
