Review of Mellow Mushroom

In response to pinkmoon08. I’m pinkmoon08’s brother, and I was there that night. My wife also has celiac, and was perfectly fine with her gluten free pizza. The salads are gluten free and are quite good - that’s all I get there anymore.

Her partner was the rude one, and could not be consoled with being told that his food was being prepared separately. The manager was perfectly fine, and my sister’s frustration about the pizza being brought, then taken away, was merely about the wait staff not being alerted to their complaints… because he went straight to the manager.

The staff there was perfectly fine and removed the charge from the bill. Being knowledgeable about your food is one thing. Being paranoid and believing the kitchen is out to poison you is another.

My wife and I considered going back to the restaurant that night to apologize for my sister and her partner’s behavior. It was embarrassing and you should take her review with more than a grain of salt.
