In response to pinkmoon08.
I’m pinkmoon08’s brother, and I was there that night. My wife also has celiac, and was perfectly fine with her gluten free pizza. The salads are gluten free and are quite good - that’s all I get there anymore.
Her partner was the rude one, and could not be consoled with being told that his food was being prepared separately. The manager was perfectly fine, and my sister’s frustration about the pizza being brought, then taken away, was merely about the wait staff not being alerted to their complaints… because he went straight to the manager.
The staff there was perfectly fine and removed the charge from the bill. Being knowledgeable about your food is one thing. Being paranoid and believing the kitchen is out to poison you is another.
My wife and I considered going back to the restaurant that night to apologize for my sister and her partner’s behavior. It was embarrassing and you should take her review with more than a grain of salt.

Far from being safe, my youngest had a horrible reaction with 10 minutes of leaving.

My partner (celiac) was unable to eat anything here because upon observation he noticed (and I agree) that the kitchen did not have a true dedicated gluten free area. The throwing of the pizzas and reusing of the wooden pizza spatulas was causing regular flour to go everywhere. We were with a group of others that were not celiac. My partner talked to the manager and said “upon observing your practices, I do not feel safe eating here. Please take my pizza off the order.” The manager refused saying that gloves would be switched and all precautions would be taken. My partner said “I understand but I am very celiac and will be sick for a week with even a little cross contamination. Please do not make my order.” The manager refused and said they were making the order anyway and that they would take precautions. Order is made and I and my partner have observed all of the practices that can cause cross contamination, so he does not eat it. At the end, we ask to not pay for his pizza. Manager comes over and says “so you don’t want this?” And takes the pizza away. Everyone else is getting boxes for their food and other people would have eaten his order, but that’s neither here nor there. NOT CELIAC FRIENDLY and rude. All of the people that could eat gluten enjoyed their food. Consideration was sub par though.

The GF pizza crust is awful. It honestly tasted like cardboard. But the toppings were wonderful! What a shame since there ARE decent GF pre-made crusts available. (Serra’s in Maryland Hts. uses them). The GF brownie was delicious and tasted like a regular gooey brownie. What a contrast to that thin hard pizza crust. Our Server was very conscientious about telling me that if I wanted the brownie warmed up it could be CC since the oven was not dedicated.

The food is not good. I had a salad that was terrible. It didn’t have gluten and I didn’t get sick but it wasn’t a tasty salad. For the price I would have expected a better salad. Instead I felt like I could make better salad at home.

They have a dedicated kitchen for gluten free items but I feel like it’s hit or miss if I have a reaction. Their managers are well trained but I don’t think the staff is always the most cautious
Yes
The pizza crust was tough, cardboard like, and very disappointing. Also, it took extremely long to get our food (around an hour). On a plus side, I didn’t feel sick after eating and they had a good option for dairy free cheese.
Dedicated kitchen space. Kitchen staff change aprons, gloves, etc. Never gotten sick and been many times. Super great pizza and vegan cheese (Follow Your Heart brand). Highly recommend!
Underwhelming food. They’ve gone down hill since opening. The only options are pizza. How do you put gluten in a salad? A million kinds of beer but not a single gf one? The pizza had no flavor and was drowning in grease. We like locations in other cities but this one failed to impress. My non cd daughter had a calzone she couldn’t even swallow she said it tasted nasty.
they cook AND SERVE gluten free separate from other orders! One of my no.1 places to go!!
Yes
I go here all the time. I used to be in love with their gf pizza until they changed the crust size from a medium to a small. I never got sick from the pizza; however, one time I felt glutened after eating an order of wings (though they tried to argue with me that they didn’t think that was possible, which was very annoying🙄). Overall, a good place for tasty gf pizza and drinks. It can get very busy during rush hour.
Yes
staff are educated, they have a dedicated prep area and take things seriously. Our son with celiac loves this place
Yes
Pizza tasted good (GF/DF). But unfortunately I ended up sick (I have celiac). My gluten/dairy sensitive son was fine. Never eating here again, though.
No
Be careful if you eat here. GF Pizza is to be brought out separate by person who cooks. Waitress brought out with husband pizza. Plates still had food on them and had to ask for another. Not worth the risk...other pizza places in area are better.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!!! I have gluten, dairy and soy allergies and this is the only pizza place I can eat at. Daiya cheese. I've eaten at various MM's and have never gotten sick. I'm borderline celiac.
I ordered the 12inch gluten free pizza without cheese, caramelized onions, black olives and mushrooms. The pizza was ok and not my favorite dough made from sorghum, amaranth, teff and tapioca flour blend plus xanthum gum as it was a bit chewy. The Angry Orchard cider was good and the service was good too.

Went here with my GF kiddo. The staff was very friendly. Let the server know about the celiac. Told us which of the pizzas were GF. Kiddo decided on plain cheese. We were told they changed gloves, separate oven, etc., for gf. Good experience!
