I was excited to eat here after a long day. I was told the chips were fried in a shared fryer with flour tortillas for taco salads. I ordered fajitas thinking that would be safe, I was told they would cook the meat in a separate skillet as the grill is used for flour tortillas too. They said I couldn’t have the rice and they didn’t know about the corn tortillas. The corn tortillas appeared to be the darker, wheat/corn mix, so I passed. Basically I ended up eating a few pieces of steak and onions and peppers. The staff tried, but were unsure, I left hungry and disappointed.
The staff is very knowledgeable about gluten free food prep. They have item clearly marked on their menu. Wide selection of GF foods and the food is awesome. It is so relaxing going out to eat and not be concerned about cross contamination or untrained waiters/waitresses on gluten allergies. Mexico’s has been my favorite restaurant for a stress free meal and wonderful food. Service is fast and attentive.
Excellent food. The manager actually came over to our table and said he would take care of everything in the kitchen for me. Made GF chips for me for the chips and salsa they bring out. Will definitely be back.
Amazing staff and food at Mexico Restaurant! Pablo was our waiter - was very knowledgable regarding "seasonings" and gluten safety. Mgr. And kitchen staff were VERY accommodating and made adjustments to food prep. Had the Swiss enchiladas with white rice. Exceptional service and quality. HIGHLY recommend!!
