The fact that this is a scratch kitchen and they don’t offer more GF options is absurd. I was offered sliced cucumbers since the chips aren’t considered gluten free due to cross contamination. However I was shocked to see a charge for the cucumbers added to the bill! We used to love going to this restaurant however might need to reconsider our options!

Not allergen friendly. Called twice prior to my reservation of 9 people for Father's day to specify our food allergy for our child.

I called twice to verify and had them check with their manager prior to arriving if they would have gluten-free tortillas since it's not on their gluten free menu and my child is gluten-free. Their Gluten Free menu is not kid friendly, thus specifically wanted to have gluten free tortillas and chips. The first phone call I was advised both are gluten-free, however, the second phone call I was informed the tortillas are available gluten free but not chips. I was put on hold during the phone call and was told this was specifically verified by their manager.

I then said I would bring gluten-free chips for her.

When we ordered, they brought out flour tortillas for her Quesadillas and then when I reiterated we requested gluten free they proceeded to tell me that they can not accodamate that. My daughter spent the night eating the chips I brought and cucumber slices. I was informed by the waiter the restaurant has gluten-free tortillas but when he asked the manager they could not cook them separately on a separate pan to avoid cross contamination. Seriously??? Can't you get a separate clean pan? I then asked for the tortilla cold, not heated up and he said he couldn't do that.

So disappointing. The manager never had the courtesy to approach us and apologize. Then tried to charge us for the quesadillas never eaten.

Felt bad for the waiter who had to work under such poor management

we just walked out last time after trying to order. their ability to accommodate our gf needs for a celiac was so dismal that they didn't even charge us for the half drank margaritas we left on the table. if you're celiac don't waste your time.

I can't believe people rate this place so high. if you are a Mexican restaurant and your chips are not gluten-free, what's the point? There's an extremely limited menu that's gluten friendly, but they definitely stress that it's not gluten-free.
