Server didnt know what gluten was and the manager got mad when I asked for the gluten free menu

Eat at your own risk. We called and talked to a manager about Gluten Free options. Some servers have a good awareness of gluten free and some have no clue. Here is what we got from the manager. Dishes I've safely eaten (w/corn tortillas): Veggie FajitasChicken FajitasChicken Salad (lunch menu)Huevos RancherosFish Tacos I've scoured the menu and talked to servers and most other dishes contain gluten. Don't eat the chips. They are in a shared fryer and they add flour to them. This restaurant has good food and good service!
Mi Ranchito has gluten-free entrees with chicken or seafood that are safe for celiacs. The staff understands the importance of this for patrons.

I had the GF veggie enchiladas (minus the shrimp) and they were delicious! Very fresh veggies and very helpful staff.

Very kind and cautious. I have a corn and gluten allergy. They were able to help me figure out what was safe to eat. They have a separate GF menu. The Flan is even GF so you can have dessert! I was so impressed by how much they cared and were attentive to my needs.
Every time I have eaten here, I have gotten sick from cross contamination or gluten in the “gluten sensitive” items.
