The food was safe, and I didn’t get sick. The waitstaff were friendly and attentive. But that’s really it. It’s 2 star food for 5 star prices. I was super excited to have authentic Mexican food that was Celiac-safe, but it really just wasn’t very good. My partner and I shared an order of nachos as an appetizer and each got 3 tacos with a side of corn. It was $70 with the tip and only mediocre. Also, please be aware that everything marked as gluten free on the menu is not safe for people with Celiac. I appreciated my waiter making me aware, but why label if it’s not even accurate? They only separate fryer is for chips, anything else fried (even though it’s labeled gluten free) is fried with gluten-containing foods. Overall, just not somewhere I’d recommend unless you’re at the wharf and desperate for something safe to eat.
