I have been here a few times withh no issue. Chef always brings out my gf meal and that makes me feel really secure. This place is such a great stop for cross contamination free foodlets. Much recommended

This place was amazing and very knowledgeable about GF as the chef has celiac disease. The flatbreads were super yummy! Loved the fries, fried pickles, and having GF chicken fingers was a treat (dedicated fryer). Had some fried ice cream that was delicious. Only wish they had GF buns for a hamburger. Otherwise, this place was a gem. Wonderful service as well!

Good, Bad, and Ugly:

I give this place 3 stars soley bc i felt safe eating here with gf protocols they have in place. it's nice to find a place that has a separate gf fryer. that said, anything grilled was not celiac safe which left us with chicken wings as the only meat option. they had app options and salad options and a dessert. (no burger or chicken sandwich available).

the service was mediocre at best. we got there before anyone else in the restaurant (we do this often bc we usually get better service) but it felt like we were an inconvenience to the server. we had to go up and ask for plates and napkins with our apps, then we needed to go ask for Ketchup and utensils for our dinner. waters were never refilled, never asked if we wanted another drink even cider/beer. as i said the service was leaving something to desire for sure.

Not everything is marked gf, but the chicken tenders and fried pickles can be made gf!!!! So exciting! If you see I on the menu, just ask your server! They mentioned all their liquor was gf, I didn’t ask about that, but I would check if you’re as sensitive as I am. I’m so excited we found this place!

The chef is celiac so the staff is very well trained. There are more items on menu that are gf than labeled so make sure to ask your waitress. We had fried pickles, chicken tenders, wings and flatbread pizza. The chicken tenders and wings were everyone’s favorite.

Second time coming here and eating. Did not get sick either time! One menu but GF is marked well. They have a separate dedicated kitchen for GF items and GF fryer. Wait staff knowledgeable. Food is marked as GF/celiac when entered by staff. They have on tap ciders and seltzers as well as canned available. Love coming here to watch a game or just grab a bite to eat!

This was a great find when we realized nothing much is open on Sundays. The burger buns are put on the same grill as the burgers. It was off hours and SLOW. I asked if the curry patty could be made in a separate pan. They accommodated after confirming the patty was GF. Order the fries. Order the wings.

Started with chicken wings and the whipped feta…YUM! Finished with the State Street Sunrise Salad and a glass of hard cider…YUM again! Will go back for gf pizza as it is baked in a dedicated gf oven. Service was laid back. Chef delivers all gf items to the table and address questions, impressive.

Best. Fries. Ever. Like a potato chip and a French fry had a baby. I will come back here just for the fries! Oh yeah, the wings and Flatbread are good too. 5 stars!

Sensitive celiac. Came here based on reviews here. Had the crispy wings, 1/2 with dry rub and the other 1/2 with bbq sauce with a side of hot honey. Also had the flat bread with marinara and pepperoni. Both were excellent. Menu clearly marked, server knowledgeable. There is ample outdoor seating and don’t miss the beer garden seating along the side of building. Will return!

AMAZING! Family and I went got cheesy bread(best in my life) margarita pizza(mom who is not gluten free said best ever) and zooted sweet fries. So good would recommend to anyone. Pizza oven is 100% gf and head chef is too felt super safe and staff was knowledgeable!

Great place, an entire gf menu, dedicated pizza oven and fryer. The flatbread was probably the best I've had since going gf. Delicious cocktails. Staff was very knowledgeable and attentive. My gluten eating partner really liked their food, and the beer. Highly recommend.

Came here after seeing so many positive reviews and was not disappointed! Gluten free items were clearly marked on the menu and our waiter was knowledgeable and willing to help with accommodations. The chef brought my food directly to me and assured all necessary precautions were taken. The food here was some of the best food I’ve had in a long time and was enjoyed by my non gluten free partner! I will absolutely be returning next time I’m in the area.

Update 6/25/23 new chef has celiac and knows safe prep! Dedicated fryer and well marked menu. Awesome fries, wings and gluten free flat bread pizza in a dedicated pizza oven! Plus seltzer, hard cider and cocktails! Space is great and family friendly!

Update 12/27/22 dedicated kitchen is currently not being staffed. Limited GF options while they figure it out but hopefully will be back soon! You can still have a seltzer, cider or cocktail!

New dedicated kitchen with pizzas and tacos! All the pizzas are on GF cauliflower crust, tacos and nachos with corn tortillas/chips, and dedicated work space! (There is a different kitchen with burgers/gluten.) Lots of safe options, and all delicious! Bar has spirits, cider and seltzers! They’ve worked hard to understand how to make this celiac friendly and they did it right!

No longer has a dedicated gluten free kitchen but does have a dedicated space for flatbreads and a dedicated gf fryer. Fries and wings are delicious and so are the flatbreads. Cheesecake desserts are always gluten free too. Kitchen manager has celiac so she takes all the safety precautions when notified of gf allergy and brings the food out to you.

i was super excited to go here because everyone was saying the food was amazing and dedicated GF kitchen. while one of their kitchens is gluten free the menu is pretty limited to flat breads and a couple taco options. the food was not good. super bland and no flavor. also the service was poor at best. gluten free food can be made amazing, but this was not. basic store bought tortilla chips with a couple pieces of chicken is not nachos.

Yes you heard that right! They have an ENTIRE kitchen that is dedicated gluten free with a whole page of gluten free items on their menu! I couldn’t believe how well informed our waitress was on celiacs disease and cross contamination. Their menu even clearly states this without having to ask staff. I ordered the flatbread pizza which was AMAZING!! (I am celiac and extremely sensitive, had absolutely no problem here or reaction at all) It was such a breath of fresh air to have a wide variety/selection with zero worries while I was here. I cannot wait for my next visit to Traverse City so I can come here again!
