Review

The waitress knew someone with celiac who eats at mineshaft. When I asked questions about safe foods. I was given the response I don’t know but my friend eats it.

I then asked for a manager. She told me I could eat the tator tots not the French fries. She went back to kitchen to tell the cooks to use the dedicated fryer. They told her it’s not guaranteed that it’s always Gluten Free. The cooks will use it for all breaded items if they need too. Then they will switch the use for Gluten Free only but not change the oil. Obviously they are clueless what the definition is for a Gluten Free designated fryer. They also can’t say they are celiac friendly.

I won’t be going back. This is the 3rd time I tried this restaurant. The first two was awful. This was the end. When a waitress says I don’t know to a question. Then isn’t happy to ask a manager. If the manager guarantees something but the cooks do the opposite. Someone could get really sick. If you want Gluten Free fries in Oshkosh don’t go here. They don’t what dressings for salads are either. We have wonderful celiac friendly places. This is not one of them.
