Review of Mirabelle

My wife is celiac and I am not. Stopped here for lunch. Is there anything better than to announce that you're a celiac and have the person behind the counter perk up and say "we got ya." The restaurant offers GF waffles. My wife ordered the GF peach cobbler and I the GF lemon zinger. This way we can sample both. My wife has a sweet tooth and I...not so. The waffles tasted great except that my taste buds were overwhelmed by the sweetness sooner then my wives. That said, with freshly ground and brewed coffee in hand I somehow found the ability to handle my half of the food.

Food is love so we try to acknowledge when a restaurant works to offer GF options. As with so many small restaurants we found out that the owner's family has a number of celiacs. 70 degree sunny day sitting outside in beautiful Savanah, Georgia and enjoying good food. Feel the love.
