They use the same toppings as well as the same pans without washing in between. There's an extreme amount of cross contamination. They do have a gluten "friendly" crust.

They refused to change gloves and said it was no longer policy. I literally had to leave. Not worth the contamination. I used to enjoy Mod Pizza. Bummer! The high temp oven doesn’t cause me to flare up from cross-contamination. But toppings do. Each person is different.

The GF crust was delicious and 100% worth it…unless you’re sensitive to cross-contamination. I haven’t had issues with it so far, but I know a lot of the GF community is.

No. Don’t do it. Had no care to change gloves or wipe counter down before handling “prepackaged cardboard GF crust”! Will not be returning.

Doesn't have a separate oven for gluten free pizza

Definitely not a place to go for Celiacs or anyone who seriously can't have gluten. They have flour everywhere and all the pizzas are cooked on the same oven.

Just discovered this place near me. They have gluten free pizza and dairy free cheese with lots of awesome topping options. They do warn however that there is a risk of gluten cross contamination so eat at your own risk.

first time trying the gluten free pizza at mod! they offer a gluten free crust as well as a cauliflower crust but i personally like the cauliflower crust, it tastes so good and they even use a different pizza cutter to be aware of my dairy allergy!! super sweet people as well! if you’re worried about cross contamination i’d say maybe to not go, as they cook the pizzas in a traditional wood oven!!

Asked for GF crust and received regular. The box was marked GF so I ate it, trusting they knew what they were doing. Tasted great but I got gluten-ed even though I expressed to them I have celiacs.

MOD Pizza has two gluten-free pizza crust options that, in my opinion, both taste great. They can prepare any pizza on the menu or “create your own pizza” with either the gluten-free crust or cauliflower crust. They can also make the cheesy garlic bread with either of those options, as well. However, they do not have a dedicated pizza oven. If you ask the employee to minimize cross-contamination, they will try their best, but they state that they aren’t able to guarantee that cross-contamination won’t happen. Make sure to tell the employee building your pizza that you want the pizza cooked in the section of the oven that doesn’t regularly cook the rest of the pizzas and when they are cutting the pizza you can ask for a “clean cut” which means they will use a pizza cutter that has not been used on other pizzas.
