When I came across all the positive reviews for Modavie, I knew I wanted to try it out on my first visit to the city. My experience was so positive, with the server being wholly knowledgeable about the menu (as others have noted it’s unmarked but the majority of it is or can be prepared celiac safe) and the food being incredibly delicious, that my family and I returned a second time for dinner just a few nights later. It’s invaluable to find a place while traveling where you feel safe eating and have options (and golf options, at that), and Modavie was that for me. Food I ate: - poutine with braised lamb (my first ever poutine experience, knocked me away, dedicated fryer for fries) - mushroom truffle risotto (best risotto I’ve ever had) - lamb t-bone - muscles and fries (so perfect) - vanilla ice cream (MUST try) - crème brûlée - sorbet (blood orange flavor)

There was also live music every night after 7 which gave it the coziest, holiday pub vibe. I couldn’t recommend going here more for amazing food that just happens to be gluten free and celiac safe!
