I spoke with a manager, who informed me that their gluten-free pizza crusts come in a separate foil pan, and are cooked in that pan so the crust doesn’t come into contact with the oven grates. The main risk seems to be an employee accidentally using the same pizza cutter for both gluten and gluten-free pizzas. However, we order from our local Monical’s on a regular basis and I’ve never had an issue. I’m comfortable with their food handling procedures.

Delicious pizza, threat of cross contamination same as any other pizza place but they do take precautions to cook gluten free in a disposable pan so the crust never comes in contact with the cooking surface.

I ordered a gluten-free pizza. Had one of the worst reactions I’ve ever had to Gluten. They were very nice about it. Apologized and gave me a coupon for a free pizza. However, considering the severity of my reaction, I really don’t trust them anymore. Won’t be going back.
