Review of Monica's

The gluten free foods are pretty good here. The pizza is ok, not great, but their gluten free penne is good. It can be substituted into most pasta dishes. The gluten free rolls are really good, but cost $1 with a meal ($2 by themselves) while non-gf rolls are complimentary. The cinnamon butter is awesome though. The other gf breads are not as good, but still ok. I called once on a Saturday night wanting a gf pizza as a carryout, but they said they weren't doing any carryout orders of any kind that night. I'm sure they were busy, or short-handed, etc. but it's pretty upsetting when you have so few gf options in the area that one of those few places is basically refusing to serve you unless you come in and sit down so that you can tip their waitress.
