What a fun ambiance. Felt like I was in South America. The papusas were nice and thick. I had the taquitos and plantains. Yum! The homemade chips and salsa were perfect.
I did not like the chunky apple/strawberry lemonade. I would get water next time.
Next visit wasn’t as fun. I raved about it to a friend and then it fell flat. Didn’t enjoy my agua Fresca. I forgot I was going to order water next time 🤪
The food is decently priced, but they get you with the drinks and extras. 🤑
My friend’s pupusa was so hard she couldn’t cut it. They brought her the wrong kind at first-that one looked normal, but the replacement was bad. She tried to eat it but took most of it home.
I love that it’s dedicated gluten-free, but it disappointed the second time. My advice? Don’t get complacent in the kitchen. I want to go back and try some more. Don’t make me regret it when I do.
