This was excellent Korean bowls. We got a spicy dish with impossible meat and brown rice. Also got the spicy cauliflower wings. Finally Korean sweet bbq cauliflower with sweet potato noodles. Everything was excellent with flavors and portions sizes. Almost four hours later I am still full. It is a little expensive and a ghost kitchen in an industrial area. Even though all the food is gf I don’t know what the proximity is to the other ghost kitchens there. Food was excellent and not reaction so far.
To call this a “Food Hall” is disingenuous. It’s a Door Dash Kitchen. Honestly, had I known I probably wouldn’t have eaten here.
That being said! Despite my concerns about the shared kitchen in back, and the staffs lack of willingness to answer my questions about cross contamination I ate my bulgogi bowl and had no issues!!
It did occur to me it took a very long time for my food to come out, and that could be because they were doing a cleaning/cross contamination protocol.
When all was said and done, the food was absolutely delicious and I had no gluten reaction! I wish I was in the city longer to get it again.
I've had moon bowl from the san jose location but couldn't test it with the elisa test kit. I was okay after eating it but did have a little but of bloating.
At the adeline food hall location i was able to test the food and the impossible burger bowl, the gochujung sauce, creamy sesame sauce and sesame vineagritte sauce all teated positive for gluten. Unfortunate. The fries tested negative and i was able to eat it.
My partner ate the food and it tasted good.
The "fuck gluten" restaurant at the same location is just moon bowl with a different name. So this review is for that restaurant as well.
