They have Local Oven buns again at this location. You have to ask them to change their gloves.
Don't go here!! No dedicated fryer like others mentioned. A burger just wrapped in lettuce might be safe, but I was afraid to try it.
No
NO MORE GF BUNS. It's discontinued. But they still have dedicated fryer. Good ice turkey burger.
This location still has a dedicated fryer for regular french fries but on our visit today we were informed that they no longer sell gluten free buns and only offer the iceburger (lettuce wrap) as a gluten free burger option. This came as a major disappointment because we have a Mooyah burger closer to our house but drove to this one specifically because it shows on this site that they have gluten free buns from local oven.

THANK YOU MOOYAH for giving me back my burger and fries! I called them before we went and the man I spoke with was very knowledgeable about gluten. He explained to me they have gluten free buns, and three separate fryers. The first is dedicated to regular french fried, the second to sweet potato fries, and the third to chicken. For was amazing, and service was great. We will go back many times.
Yes
They DO have gfree buns! They are delicious! The fries are outstanding!
Yes
Food was very good, but beware that they do NOT have gluten-free hamburger buns! They will wrap a burger in lettuce... but what kid wants that? Fries are very good and cooked in a gluten-free fryer.

I had a great time ordering my food. I asked my burger to be in a lettuce wrap since I did not want to pay extra for a gluten free bun. The meat was so tender and the strawberry milkshake was so good! I had no issues afterwards. The guy at the counter didn’t know a lot of English but understood how I wanted my order made and even reminded me to took off the onion! They don’t necessarily have a gluten free menu but you can just substitute the buns. I’m unsure if any of the sauces are gluten free though so I would definitely ask about that, or just remove the sauce just to be safe.

I ordered DoorDash and I ordered the burger wrapped in lettuce but instead I got a regular bun. This is the first time this has happened and I am very annoyed. Btw I don’t have celiac I have a gluten intolerance. But I was still very annoyed especially since I paid a good price for it

Newly diagnosed with celiac disease (3-4 months). I was in Abilene for a quick day trip and looking for a place to eat. Usually Five Guys is my go-to if I don’t have a packed lunch. Abilene doesn’t have one. I saw online that they had a gluten free bun on the menu. Prior to going I called and asked to speak with a manager to ask about gluten free options. She was very knowledgeable and had all of the answers. She informed me that their beef and buns were cooked on separate grills. She also said they wrap the gluten free buns in foil before warming them on the grill, so that are not cross contaminated. She also informed me that they do not have a separate fryer so that their fried WOULD have cross contamination with the other items that they deep fry, so I should not order them.
Overall the beef was good and the gluten free bun was not bad! Much better than some I have tried.
I would recommend this place as long as you let them know about your condition.

Had just a bacon cheeseburger with no bun because I didn’t want to pay extra for a GF roll. The thin bad tasting burger was covered in rock hard overdone bacon. I was upset that I didn’t just go to Jersey Mike’s across the parking lot. It definitely wasn’t worth the inflated pricing.
