Sadly changing my review from 5 to 1 stars. New Management in the last year. No longer has a dedicated fryer for french fries. Unfortunately, their employees don't know this. Glutened my daughter terribly. No longer has gluten free buns at this location but hasn't taken it off the menu. Extremely disappointing.

The cashier seemed clueless. I asked for the gf menu and he just shrugged. I asked for a gf chicken sandwich. The local oven bun was great. But I was a victim of cc. I was sick after. Will not be back.

Finally a place that knows what Celiac Disease is! The manager was awesome and even explained how they prevent cross-contamination with their french fries. He let me know the sweet potato fries contained oat flour, so they may not be safe for those of us with Celiac. The regular french fries are gluten free and safe though! I can honestly say I haven't been to a restaurant where anyone was so knowledgeable about cross-contamination and gluten. I'll definitely be back!

love that they are conscious of what a gluten allergy means! although it's a bit embarrassing when they shout "Glove change for gluten allergy!"

I'm updating my review after my recent positive experience. The manager was very helpful and informed me that they would change their gloves and clean the grill before preparing my order. They do have a dedicated fryer for fries if you request it. I prefer the Iceburger to the gluten free bun.

They have lettuce burgers and gluten free buns as options and they're fries do have a dedicated fryer! When they found out I had celiac, they made sure to take extra precaution in preparing my food. While I was eating they came by to make sure everything was good and I didn't need anything else. Great customer service and knowledgeable about the importance of gluten free.

The gluten free hamburger buns were terrible but everything else was great. The salad was REALLY good! Just make sure they leave off the crispy onions.

Awesome place, staff and food! Burgers on gluten-free bun with gluten-free sweet potato fries. The best I've had in awhile! Dedicated fryer. Manager walked around to ask us how everything was. Will definitely be back!

Great food! Tasty gluten free buns available or lettuce wrap if you'd rather. When I told them about my daughter's celiac, they made sure the grill was scrubbed before beginning her order. Dedicated fryer for French fries.

I had a great time ordering my food. I asked my burger to be in a lettuce wrap since I did not want to pay extra for a gluten free bun. The meat was so tender and the strawberry milkshake was so good! I had no issues afterwards. The guy at the counter didn’t know a lot of English but understood how I wanted my order made and even reminded me to took off the onion! They don’t necessarily have a gluten free menu but you can just substitute the buns. I’m unsure if any of the sauces are gluten free though so I would definitely ask about that, or just remove the sauce just to be safe.

I ordered DoorDash and I ordered the burger wrapped in lettuce but instead I got a regular bun. This is the first time this has happened and I am very annoyed. Btw I don’t have celiac I have a gluten intolerance. But I was still very annoyed especially since I paid a good price for it

Newly diagnosed with celiac disease (3-4 months). I was in Abilene for a quick day trip and looking for a place to eat. Usually Five Guys is my go-to if I don’t have a packed lunch. Abilene doesn’t have one. I saw online that they had a gluten free bun on the menu. Prior to going I called and asked to speak with a manager to ask about gluten free options. She was very knowledgeable and had all of the answers. She informed me that their beef and buns were cooked on separate grills. She also said they wrap the gluten free buns in foil before warming them on the grill, so that are not cross contaminated. She also informed me that they do not have a separate fryer so that their fried WOULD have cross contamination with the other items that they deep fry, so I should not order them.

Overall the beef was good and the gluten free bun was not bad! Much better than some I have tried.

I would recommend this place as long as you let them know about your condition.

Had just a bacon cheeseburger with no bun because I didn’t want to pay extra for a GF roll. The thin bad tasting burger was covered in rock hard overdone bacon. I was upset that I didn’t just go to Jersey Mike’s across the parking lot. It definitely wasn’t worth the inflated pricing.
