Update to the review below: they have unfortunately changed their gf bun and I need to warn folks not to order that unless you want a super dry crumbly bun that falls completely apart as soon as you pick it up. I didn’t even get one bite into my burger. Had to go get a fork and knife to finish eating it. Even worse they charge an extra $2.50 for this crumbly mess. My husband said it looked “like a disaster.” The burger itself is still great and they do offer a Paleo burger wrapped in lettuce that I will try next time.
Super friendly prompt service. Amazing GF fries made in designated fryer. Delicious made to order burger.

Burgers are great. Fries are prepared in a shared fryer with the chicken strips so eat at your own risk. Usually I don't have a reaction. I'm guessing they don't make the chicken that often.
Yes
The fryer is not a dedicated fryer. They fry the chicken tenders in the same one
Gluten free bun, gluten free fries....need I say more? Food tastes great and they were very careful with my food. Did not get get sick at all.

I had a great time ordering my food. I asked my burger to be in a lettuce wrap since I did not want to pay extra for a gluten free bun. The meat was so tender and the strawberry milkshake was so good! I had no issues afterwards. The guy at the counter didn’t know a lot of English but understood how I wanted my order made and even reminded me to took off the onion! They don’t necessarily have a gluten free menu but you can just substitute the buns. I’m unsure if any of the sauces are gluten free though so I would definitely ask about that, or just remove the sauce just to be safe.

I ordered DoorDash and I ordered the burger wrapped in lettuce but instead I got a regular bun. This is the first time this has happened and I am very annoyed. Btw I don’t have celiac I have a gluten intolerance. But I was still very annoyed especially since I paid a good price for it

Newly diagnosed with celiac disease (3-4 months). I was in Abilene for a quick day trip and looking for a place to eat. Usually Five Guys is my go-to if I don’t have a packed lunch. Abilene doesn’t have one. I saw online that they had a gluten free bun on the menu. Prior to going I called and asked to speak with a manager to ask about gluten free options. She was very knowledgeable and had all of the answers. She informed me that their beef and buns were cooked on separate grills. She also said they wrap the gluten free buns in foil before warming them on the grill, so that are not cross contaminated. She also informed me that they do not have a separate fryer so that their fried WOULD have cross contamination with the other items that they deep fry, so I should not order them.
Overall the beef was good and the gluten free bun was not bad! Much better than some I have tried.
I would recommend this place as long as you let them know about your condition.

Had just a bacon cheeseburger with no bun because I didn’t want to pay extra for a GF roll. The thin bad tasting burger was covered in rock hard overdone bacon. I was upset that I didn’t just go to Jersey Mike’s across the parking lot. It definitely wasn’t worth the inflated pricing.
