Both my IBS friend and I, (gluten sensitive) had a pretty severe explosive digestive reaction within 10 minutes of eating cashew ice cream. We have avoided this place since.

Beware if you're a sensitive celiac like me! I love the taste of this ice cream and that is all GF and dairy free, but didn't feel well after getting it from the shop. Went back and asked, and realized there's no protocol to prevent cross contamination from gluten cones into the ice cream. Unlike other places I've been to, they don't offer to scoop from a fresh uncontaminated container in the back. The best they can do is wash the scoop. Fyi, pints are also packed in house from the same supply and potentially cross contaminated too. Such a bummer! Could have been a Celiac's dream come true. At least they sell pints at the grocery store.

All of the ice cream flavors are gluten free....even cookies & cream (which is what I ordered and loved)! Gluten free cones too! We will for sure return the next time we are in town.

They have dairy free ice cream for my wife who can’t eat dairy and it is all gluten free. They also sell gluten free cookies at the counter.

The ice cream sandwich was delicious! It was the best dairy free ice cream I've had!!

Fabulous cashew-based ice cream that tastes as creamy as the real thing. Lots of yummy flavors, and g-f cones are available too. It's great to come out of the movie theater across the street and get an "ice cream" cone just like everyone else! Even friends who can eat dairy like this place.

Mr. Dewie's carries delicious dairy free cashew ice-cream which is paired with several gluten free cone options including a homemade buckwheat waffle cone.
