No gf menu and not marked on menu. Staff seems knowledgeable, but I prefer things “in writing.” Portions not huge, which is good for the waistline, but to me prices are high for portion size. Full disclosure: I let myself get a bit low blood sugar before coming in so my patience is not at its peak...
Outstanding food and fabulous service! Tons of gluten free options and modifiers for most foods that aren’t gf. Chips are in a dedicated fryer. The tamal and tacos are out of this world. Highly recommend!!!
Very delicious, especially the Al Pastor taco, chips and guac, and nadarita. It's a bit harder to navigate dairy free though (tamales, tortilla soup, grilled corn, and several tacos all made with dairy). I'll continue going back.
Are here twice while I was in town and it was excellent. A bit pricy for tacos but the staff was very aware of Celiac needs, and most of the menu was naturally gluten free. I had shrimp tacos and the street corn the first time and the carne tacos and black beans the second time. Beans were a little salty but both tacos and the street corn were delicious. Didn’t get sick!
The staff was very knowledgable about celiac specifically - noting that some things on their menu were safe for gluten allergies but not celiac, so make sure to mention if you have one or the other. They have a separate frier for chips which were delicious! I had the Al Pastor tacos and they were great. Some of the best corn tortillas I’ve ever had!
The food was great. However the waiter told me there was no wheat in the kitchen. I told him “well actually you just said you have four tortillas”. His response “there is no wheat in flour”. I have a wheat allergy and luckily did not have to use my epi pen, but was incredibly nervous.
