Loved loved this place. The food is amazing, tempura was just so good, light crispy seafood and vegetables with a spicy dip. This is a casual temaki bar specializing in open-style sushi hand rolls all gluten free so 100% safe. The temaki were made fresh in front of us by the chefs and were so tasty. We had the signature menu which had 5 different handheld temakis, the variety of flavors and textures was fantastic . Chatted to the manager who was lovely, she was clearly proud of her team and the restaurant and I can fully understand why. Great dinner, defo go and try something different.

Nami Nori is a 100% gluten-free restaurant! It is also very delicious! Michelin awarded restaurant. Casual (but nice) open bar style temaki with open style sushi hand rolls. My favorite sushi ever- my son is severe celiac and I’m gf, likely celiac also- no problem. Even the soy sauce is gf.

Great hand rolls, and everything is GF. Our server was just ok but we sat at the sushi bar and the chef was really engaged and jumped right into the conversation to share knowledge to reassure us of the food safety since we also need to avoid dairy cross contamination. One of the hand rolls has dairy, so they took precautions to ensure our food was all prepared together on a clean surface to avoid any issues.

A dining experience at Nami Nori is unlike most you’ll have in your life. The food is exceptional, intentional, and impactful. The fact that it is also 100% gluten free is the cherry on top.

It is hard to get a reservation as it is a very intimate spot, so plan accordingly. It is also on the more expensive side, but a treat for a special occasion.

Fantastic in every way. Delicious food. All GF. Vegan sushi available too and it’s wonderful. Amazing fries. Fabulous drinks (matchtini was terrific). Right next to a GF bakery (postcard). Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back.

The West Village is the spot for gluten free eats in NYC. Highly recommend visiting Nami Nori. They are 100% gluten free and actually have three locations. One in the West Village, one in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and one in Montclair, NJ. I've only been to the location in the city. The food is delicious and it is so nice to have a safe place to enjoy Japanese food without worry. My favorite thing to get is the THE SIGNATURE SET of Temaki, but you can't go wrong with anything you order. To start I've enjoyed the furikaké fries. A bonus is that Nami Nori recently opened a bakery next door called Postcard, where you can try traditional Japanese desserts!

Really yummy experience! Got the bean sprouts and tempura as an appetizer. The open face hand rolls were a fun experience and really tasty, a little difficult to eat but worth it. So nice to eat somewhere and know everything is GF!

This is probably one of the best restaurants I have ever been to in my life. Not a trace of gluten/wheat in the entire restaurant. I have tried every single roll at least once and they are all fantastic (they aren't technically rolls, more like a taco but... sushi). I'm not even being dramatic, the food here is unbelievable.

This happens to be the best japanesse gfd in the city. After trying and tasting for 7 days this has got to be the best one. The cuisine is complex and really well done. Flavours are amazing and the food quality is incredibly good. It might be a little pricey (60-70$ pp) but compared to the other gf options in the city this is the best option. Portions are not really big but it’s a good way to keep trying new dishes. Every dish we tasted, we liked eveb more Workers and place are really nice and cosy!!!

Delicious! All food items on the menu are gluten free, the only things not gluten free are a few beers. Everything was fresh and so tasty. A really fun spot for sushi lovers.
