They are a shared facility but have a number of GF items. I am very sensitive and had no issues. The ribs and cornbread were delicious.
Food was good, ribs weren’t as soft and fall off the bone as I prefer but tasty.
I always have a combo of different meats with potatoes and GF cornbread. Never had an issue here.

Absolutely loved the food! We had cornbread, French dip and brisket. Cole slaw was great as well. Sadly the service was not. Next time will take to go.
Servers were very knowledgeable and patient with my 100 questions about menu ingredients and preparation.

Always a great experience. Wait staff has been knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. Have been here a few times now and while the food is good it is nothing spectacular.
This was an impressively knowledgeable experience. Server made me feel very safe with explanations of separate prep areas and fryer. She brought separate butter for me to the table without my asking. They bring cornbread to the table and the server showed me the box was a certified gf Krusteez. Shape of standard cornbread was totally different, so I believe these are prepared in their own tins. Choices for sides and mains are plentiful and well marked. Many kid friendly options. Restaurant itself is clean, cozy, and has a full bar. Highly recommend!

I ordered the GF BBQ Beef Brisket Sandwich and it was amazing! Great knowledgeable staff about GF options and it was all clearly marked on the menu - would definitely recommend!
Great experience. They are well versed for catering to a gluten allergy, stating the owners have a family member who is celiac. We felt so safe eating here for me that we came back to eat 2 nights in a row while on vacation in Newport Beach. The ribs are delicious. The best and most important part is I did not get sick!
I have celiac and got the pulled pork sandwich with a gluten free bun and a side of garlic mashed potatoes. Amazing food and amazing service! They also have a gluten free cornbread. The menu is also marked clearly with gluten free modification options and menu items that are already gluten free :)

AMAZING!! I have celiac and struggle to find not only good GF food, but good GF food that doesn’t make me sick. This restaurant has all the gluten free items clearly labeled on the menu. They even had gluten free cornbread that was outstanding! The server laid everything out for me and helped me to know exactly what I could order. I got a filet mignon, baked beans, and French fries (dedicated fryer). Food was great and service was even better! We will definitely be back!
Server was so kind and helpful. She said the son of the owner has celiacs, and that’s when they started implementing gf food, and that they’re all very knowledgeable about cross contamination. I got salmon with dill sauce, gf fries, beans, and coleslaw. Mom who is also gf got the filet mignon, mashed sweet potatoes, and their gf rice pilaf. Gf rice pilaf wasn’t anything to write home about. The gf cornbread was delicious. Apparently they use the gf Krusteaz cornbread mix.
Our family’s celiac did well here: full slab of baby back ribs, BBQ baked beans, garlic mashed potatoes, GF corn bread. (And there are other GF options too.) No problems with anything. Server was knowledgeable and understanding. Great experience. Would happily go back again.

Family friendly restaurant/sports bar—fun atmosphere.The menu has numerous gluten free options including gf cornbread muffins. I had baby ribs, baked potato, half an ear of corn on the cob and coleslaw—a lot of food. It was all very good; I’ve had better ribs but the whole meal was very good and, best of all, I wasn’t sick the next morning. I would definitely go back.
Tasty ribs as always. And gf cornbread! The server seemed new and it was loud in there.
I love going here ❤ They are not a dedicated kitchen but they have SO many options that are GF, including a table corn bread option and red velvet cake for dessert! Being a celiac I even have to be careful with sauces and their BBQ sauces are all GF. I highly recommend for everything from intolerances, allergies and celiacs.
Enter at your own risk. We have been visiting Newport Beach for years and our family of 5 Celiacs have always had this as a must stop while we’re here. Unfortunately, this week we stopped in and did not have that great experience of years past. The waitress did not know what was gf or not and to the point of bringing us a book. We asked if there was anyone else we could speak with and she said there were no specialists. When I said we’d probably have to leave because we didn’t feel safe, she said, “yeah, that’d probably be best”. Maybe, we just had bad timing. Items are clearly marked, but, we just didn’t have a good vibe. Bummed. Our 2 star rating is for the safeness of the food and this experience with the service, not the taste remembered from previous visits which was great.
I was a little worried about a safe Gf meal because we ordered takeout & my meal wasn’t marked as GF. However, it was a totally safe meal & the pulled pork sandwich was amazing! I didn’t try any of the sides or cornbread, but I would definitely eat here again!
Great BBQ! The owner’s son has celiac so the staff was very knowledgeable. We did takeout, every container of the meal was marked with “gf” or “not gf” Definitely recommend!
We were staying in HB and needed a good place for dinner. Newport Rib Company did not disappoint! So many GF choices. All of the meat was GF. They also offer GF burger buns, fries and cornbread. They even have a gf Chocolate cake for dessert. Everything we had was great. My son has celiac and is very sensitive. He didn’t have any issues after eating there. We liked it so much we went back the next night. The owner’s son has celiac so they get it.
We love Newport Rib! We had a catered birthday party for my son and everything was gluten free except for the corn bread. They brought me 6 gf corn bread muffins in a separate container. The owners have a special interest in keeping gluten free items safe for Celiacs. Great food!!
The owner has issues with gluten, so most of their food is or can be made gluten free. The ribs and BBQ sauce are excellent.
The amount of gf options were amazing! Staff super knowledgeable and friendly. Server caught the croutons and cheese on my salad I didn’t even think about to ask to be removed. The Gluten free ribs and cornbread were amazing! Will return every-time in town!!! Owner on site, friendly, and very knowledgeable!
Absolutely amazing!! In the area for our family Christmas holidays and went here for New Year's Eve dinner. Friendly staff, very knowledgeable about GF safety, delicious, mouth-watering ribs, crunchy green salad, and the GF cornbread muffins are to die for! They even bake them in different shaped pans from the glutinous ones so there's no mix up. Would definitely go back the next time we're in town!
Ate here this evening with my husband and 11 year old daughter who has celiac. The food was amazing. Gluten free choices were abundant. GF corn bread was very good. My daughter had chicken and french fries. They use a separate fryer so they were safe. We will definitely come back the next time we are in town
I was very impressed. When I called to order my party pack, they explained what was (bbq sauce) and wasn't (a few sides) GF. The GF corn muffins were pretty good, and the entire meal was delicious. I was totally confident my meal was GF.
Tasty and was so nice to have the GF corn muffins to start. Our server even brought me dairy free butter for my muffins! I had ribs and brisket and my daughter (also celiac) had the Cobb salad with a side of fries!
This place is awesome!! We went here with our family of 5. Three of us have Celiac. A huge selection of Gluten Free items. All BBQ sauce is gf. They even had a dedicated fryer for gf fries. And they gave us gf corn bread muffins!! Awesome food, fantastic drinks, a great night out! Highly recommend!
Everything labeled on the menu gluten free, tested the fries and baby back ribs with the nima tester and came back with smiley face, delicious food

An amazing place to go if you are gluten free or not! Over half the menu is naturally gluten free. The baby back ribs were excellent - probably the best I have ever had! Great choices - ribs, chicken, steak and seafood. The best was the grilled artichoke appetizer with 3 sauces.
Ribs were great as was the gluten free cornbread, but there were mixups with the sides causing doubts in care and safety.
We ate here two times and both were very good en glutenfree. Very friendly staff too!
Very delicious food. Menu clearly shows your gf options or tells you to ask your server if it can be made gf with a substitute, which they may not always have. I was hoping to have their corn bread but it was all gone.
Love this place but this time the waitress put the gf cornbread in a basket with regular corn bread. Usually it is served separate and by a different waiter.
The last three times I have eaten here I have been glutened. I won't be returning.
Lots of choices and staff aware. They even have a gf cornbread available.
Great food! Knowledgeable staff! Got the pulled pork sandwich to go and the bun held up great. Will be back the next time I am in town!
Best corn bread ever. All meats are GF except one! Will go back again.
