The Thai fresh spring rolls were truly out of this world. I was expecting the basil to be a strange flavor addition, but all the flavors blended beautifully and tasted really, really phenomenal. It came with a peanut sauce for dipping that may have had gluten in it (according to other reviewers), so I used my own sauce that I make and keep on hand. I had the chicken pad Thai, which was quite good. I also tried the steamed rice, which was pretty good (unremarkable), and the veggie spring rolls, which were pretty good, but not the best I’ve ever had. I am reporting the next day, and I had no symptoms from eating here. I often don’t feel well after eating out, not just due to gluten contamination, and I feel perfectly fine! Overall, great experience. Recommend eating here for great GF eats that don’t make one feel like they’re eating different food than other customers, because many offerings are naturally GF.

I had a massaman curry, it wasn't bad but it was the thinnest curry I've ever had, not thick like I am used to. This was only exasperated by the fact that they did not give me a spoon with which to eat it (takeout). They serve a cucumber and onion "salad" with it, which is really only the size of a dressing container. However, I could eat a big bowl of the stuff that was really good.
Nida's online menu designates their gluten-free menu items which is VERY helpful! My mom needs to avoid gluten and it's been very challenging at other restaurants that do not mark their gluten-free items. My mom enjoyed their pad thai and veggie spring rolls. We ordered carry out and my mom was able to use the tamari we have at home for her spring rolls. Since we avoided the condiments per another reviewers advice.

Pros: Many gluten free choices and the food is pretty tasty. Soup and sushi are delicious, and the Pad Thai is good with some spice. Cons: Staff is not knowledgeable. We ordered an appetizer that came with a dipping sauce that was not gluten free. We specified the gluten free request when we ordered, and inspected the jar of hoisin sauce used when the sauce looked suspicious. (Yes, gluten looks suspicious to me!) The sauce did have wheat. Had I trusted that server, I would have been sick! Overall, a great place in the Short North to enjoy a variety of food. However, if you have CD, you need to be very diligent and ask lots of questions every time you go. Last visited early 2014.
