Excellent food and nice decor! My plate was served separately from other guests, without the little crepe, to avoid contamination. They offered me to serve with rice or quinoa instead. I took the latter and it was marvellous! I am celiac and I recommend without hesitation.

Best meal I’ve had in a long time. The teff flour is processed in a factory that also processes wheat, so they cannot guarantee that there isn’t cross contamination. They offer rice or quinoa instead of injera for people with celiac. I went with rice, and the dishes were so flavorful and well-spiced I didn’t even feel like I was missing out. All food made in-house is celiac safe.

The menu and server were very clear that the injera is not gluten-free, because of the way teff is processed, always in a shared mill. But what they serve is the same as the so called gf injera at other restaurants. I risked it and did not get sick. Food was very good. Ask for the honey wine. Excellent.

Can’t believe no one else has reviewed it yet! Absolutely amazing Ethiopian food. The menu specifically lists celiac safe options. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Great for families and groups. One of the best celiac options in Montreal.
