Ninja Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

Since ninja has a GF menu I thought I could order hibachi via Uber eats and specify in the comments that I needed it to be cooked with GF soy sauce. Unfortunately that did not happen. When I looked at the receipt from ninja the comments doesn’t even show up from Uber eats. Just an FYI… only GF if you physically eat there. The special comments that delivery services asks you doesn’t always make it to the restaurant.

How would you rate the taste and quality of the gluten-free food you tried?

— Poor

Called ahead and hostess was not familiar with Celiac but when I said "very strict gluten free" she knew what I meant and shared to make sure the server knows ahead of time, that GF soy sauce is available and GF meals are cooked in the back and arrive when your table's food is ready. When we arrived, the server was very knowledgeable about safe menu items, sauces that would be okay, ones to avoid, etc. This is one of the first times my Celiac 12 year old has felt this safe/included at a restaurant and we had no issues after! She ordered the kids steak hibachi and loved it!
