Dedicated gluten-free bakery. Everything is delicious, but they are a bit expensive. Go early in the day for the most choices.
Everything was gluten free and delicious, the staff members were all so friendly and kind!
Being gluten free and dining out is always a challenge. This little gem is easy because it’s a dedicated gluten free kitchen. I will say it is expensive... French Toast $14 / Spinach & Feta quiche $15. The food however was delicious. It’s an open kitchen and chef Kim was very welcoming chatting with patrons . They had so many choices and the store front is tiny. When back in NY I will try the other items.
The staff was very helpful and the selection was awesome. Baked goods and savory items were delicious. Also loved the hot tea-perfect for a fall day. We will plan to go there again next time we are in that part of town!
Amazing food. Cute little spot. We tried them in Paris and honestly this one is much better. We had burgers and I don't like gluten free buns but my wife has to eat them. The bun was fantastic and so was the burger.
I can not speak highly enough about the perfectly seasoned, beautifully baked, and cooked to perfection foods here. I had lunch and took a pastry to go.
Get the eclair!!!! Oh my god it is so good. I also really love the pound cakes they do. I initially went there because I heard they do gluten free croissants. They’re pretty good! Not as flakey as I would want, but that’s pretty hard to achieve without the gluten. If you come here, be prepared to spend a bit more than usual. I’m only giving it 4 stars because I think it’s a bit overpriced.
Went for brunch today. Wasn’t sure what to expect. Ordered several things to try...ham and cheese with fried egg, garlic avocado toast with poached eggs, pancakes and a chocolate muffin. The muffin was delicious, my son devoured it. The pancakes were delicious as well. The ham and cheese was the standout, although the egg was over cooked. The poached eggs on my avocado toast were completely over cooked, basically hard boiled eggs. They were quickly replaced. I purchased a bunch of baked goods to try at home. I snuck a bite of the lemon cake ($7) in the car and was super disappointed. Although it was a generous slice, there was little to no lemon flavor. Everything looked beautiful and the actual food was good. The execution on the dishes could have been better. Glad I tried it and hope my other sweet treats are good.
Little shop with glutenfree food. Nice cookies and a little pasta to go!
Quality GF sendwiches. Great natural lemonade too.
A fabulous find in NYC! Visited in December 2017..We stopped by for a treat and ended up taking supper to go. A very large selection of baked goods and menu items -all were delicious and safe for me to eat. My nonGF family members also enjoyed. Worth the trek.
I found this place extremely underwhelming and overpriced for basic pastries. Everything I tried was dry and didn’t have anything special about it. Try one of the other gf bakeries in the area.
The eclairs are so incredibly good. I can’t tell the difference between them and all gluten eclairs. I am celiac and the whole bakery is gluten free. What a delight. The brioche rolls are also good. The small baguettes I was less impressed with they are a bit dry. The carrot cake was good. My husband who eats gluten says the macaroons were awesome.
Was super looking forward to coming here, but it was bit underwhleming. We had the eclair and like someone said in a previous review it was dry and so was a couple of other baked goods. Pecan tart was pretty good but I felt like I spent a lot to try different things and was so excited but was not worth it. Maybe it was just an off day.
Dedicated facility. I love the eclairs. I saw there was a poor review for one. It must have been an off day for the baker because this place is delicious. The pecan tart, lemon tart and chocolate peanut butter cookies are my favorites in addition to the eclairs. I am less enamored by the lemon loaf and such. But before Celiac disease I never was partial to that sort of stuff. I also enjoy the savory food. I eat lunch here about once a week. The people who work here: Martin, Hazel, Kim and Maria to name a few are kind and helpful. It’s a wonderful place to go if you are in the neighborhood.
Perfectly safe as it’s a dedicated facility, but the eclair and scone that I bought were very dry and disappointing. I’ve made much better scones from a mix.
Dined on 8 October 2017 for an afternoon snack. Also got a sandwich to go for eating later on the way home. So nice to be able to get anything on the menu without worrying about gluten-containing ingredients or cross-contamination. Outstanding food. Pricey.
Amazing amazing fantastic where do I start everything is amazing I could have sat here all day and made my way through it all. And to top it off the coffee is the best we have had since arriving in New York, 5 days ago!
I was so excited about all the delicious GF options! I got one of the lemon meringue tarts and was not disappointed! I also got some of the packaged goods and look forward to trying them too. Will definitely be back
Dedicated gluten free restaurant, French bakeries, sandwiches, salades, quiches and more. Went there for lunch and ate burger and salad + croque madame with salad.Tasty and delicious, highly recommend
Love this place! 100% gluten free and everything is delicious, only problem is that it is quite expensive.
So great for me and my daughter to walk into a bakery and know we could eat anything there! It was delicious and the chef was very nice and accommodating.
It's in the neighborhood of Upper East Side.. completely free of gluten, hence, the name. Not cheap, considering the portion size of the sandwich, but soups are delicious! It's nice to have found it after touring in the Guggenheim museum!
Completely gluten free, really delicious. Has the kinds of fancy baked treats you usually can't have, like eclairs and pies and cakes. I usually get their sandwiches to go too, which are great. It's not cheap, but worth it.
This is not the cheapest place you will get cake/tarts/sandwiches but it's dedicated GF meaning it's as safe as it gets and the coffee is good.
Pretentious little froufrou spot with overpriced everything. Be prepared to leave hungry, but they are good for gluten-free.
Tasty hot soup Best flaky tasty quiche crust Hot tea & coffee to go with a variety of yummy gf baked treats
Had lunch here. Bread was dry, not a lot of filling in the bread. Pasta was very undercooked. Cake was ok.
Got the GF baguettes & 2 quiche for a brunch I was hosting. AMAZING. My non-celiac friends said everything tasted delicious. They also sell grab & go sandwiches and baked goods. Will definitely be back 👍🏼
Love this place!! Muffins are a favorite and. Chocolate chip cookies are delicious!
So excited to try- lots of options. Chocolate chip cookie and Madelines were good. Cheesecake was fair- too sweet for me. Did not enjoy the berry cake at all. The onion flatbread was delish and the pesto/mozzarella sandwich was great. Would return for the food, but not the desserts
We ordered pizza and cupcakes from Noglu. We were disappointed with both. The sauce on the pizza was bland and the crust was terrible. The cupcakes had almost no taste and the frosting was much too sweet.
Incredible, 100% gf. Amazing tarts, cookies, brownies, quiche, and more! Excited to try their restaurant upstairs!
Delightful place. Hard to realize it is a restaurant, too, but it is phenomenal!
Great spot for dinner and a lovely staff. I thought their prices were reasonable for the neighborhood.
Their restaurant upstairs opened yesterday and it's absolutely incredible! I have celiac and I'm a native New Yorker. I've been to every bakery/restaurant in New York that's gf and this one is by far the best! For a restaurant and bakery on the UES I think their prices are quite reasonable as well. Stop whatever you're doing and eat here!
Quite overpriced, but good quality.
Googling this place shows it as closed everyday but it is very much open. All bakery items are Gluten Free and very tasty! Quite pricey but worth it for a treat. No seating, just a grab and go.
OMG. Spread the word. This place is great. My son has celiac. So nice to find these little gems. They will have a little cafe upstairs soon, I heard!
This place is amazing. Gf pastries and sandwiches! All fresh and DELICIOUS. Go here.
