Dedicated gluten-free bakery. Everything is delicious, but they are a bit expensive. Go early in the day for the most choices.

Pricy but very good. Where else can you get a gluten free baguette??

We ordered takeout lunch from here. I had been really looking forward to gluten free baguettes from a French bakery. Not only were the sandwiches tiny and overpriced - which I could deal with - but they were refrigerated beforehand and tasted like styrofoam. They were like baguette sandwiches they might give you on a long airplane ride. Why a French bakery would ever refrigerate sandwiches with fresh baked baguettes is incroyable!

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. The food is so good!!! With solid outdoor seating.

Noglu has reopened with a limited menu. 100 percent gluten free!!!!!!! There is still a lot to choose from including sandwiches, quiche, salads, breads and pastries along with other gluten free store items to purchase and various beverages. Everything is fresh and delicious. It’s a well kept small storefront with all the items looking fabulous to eat!!!

Very nice French pastry shop that is 100% GF! Very tiny place with small seating area upstairs but the food is worth it. Had to buy extra to sneak on the plane back home. Def will come back again for the CROISSANT!
Yes
Love that everything is gf, but the cakes were extremely dry and not good.
Yes
A year ago I went for gf croissants but they were sold out . This time bought a couple . Very pricey but so good. Heated up they were delicious and worth the wait.
Yes
Everything gf. Great food options! The staff are mediocre, but the food is great!
Yes
Delicious brunch! We got brioche sandwiches and they were great.
Yes
Very pricey, small and French but great food and overall great experience. Glad to be able to go to a 100% GF cafe and order anything I wanted. It is a requirement for any NYC trip.
Yes
Amazing gluten free pastries!!!! Love the croissant!! The place is 100% gf too!!!
Yes
Great food and quaint bakery. A bit pricy but nice to be able to eat anything I wanted.
Yes
expensive but amazing food!! small cafe place, with a little seating area upstairs. every thing is gluten free!
Yes
It’s amazing to see a bakery where I can eat everything. The quality wasn’t as good as I had hoped but it was really fun to be in a GF environment.
Yes
I was excited to try the croissant, but it did not look light, fluffy or layered at all, so I didn’t try it. I had a fairly good piece of carrot cake bread (huge slice), and a very good cookie. I thought we might be able to have lunch, but it’s more just a place for grab & go baked goods. Nice to have somewhere near the museums though.
Yes
I really really loved the canele, I had never had one before. It was about $5.50 for one. I got one of their premade sandwiches for my flight and it was delicious! The one with Turkey/arugula/avocado on a bun definitely recommend. Overall I loved what I got. Wish I could’ve tried other things!
I mean it’s New York, I can’t say I was too shocked by prices.
Yes
Everything was delicious. Expensive but very good. My son said it was the best lemonade he has ever had.
Yes
Excellent pastries. I got an almond pastry. Haven’t tried the croissants or breakfast yet.
If all you get is the Canele , it’s worth it :D
Yes
Delicious and 100% gf. The brownie is great!
Yes
The eclair didn’t blow me away but the canele was AMAZING. Wish I’d gotten more than one, and I think my husband agrees since I only let him have one bite.
Yes
We visited this little bakery for lunch and it was amazing to be able to choose anything we wanted as it’s 100% GF. The staff were so friendly and helpful and we enjoyed a lovely eclair and cream puff. The rolls and filled brioche was also very nice, although all on the higher price side for a lunch- but definitely worth the visit and we would certainly like to return

Man, I really wanted to love this place. I was so excited by the reviews but honestly I was underwhelmed. I went on a Friday within the lunch window and found out the chef wasn’t in and they weren’t serving lunch. So I decided to get a turkey/cheese quiche and a ham/Swiss croissant with a slice of the lemon loaf for dessert. The quiche was the highlight- it was delicious. But the croissant and the lemon loaf were so dry I could hardly eat them. When I cut the lemon loaf with my fork it literally crumbled into dust.

Everything is gluten free and the croissants are phenomenal.

Went about 1 month ago.
Food was not great, had 4 kids with me, they all would not eat it.
Ask for a refund because food was not eaten. Would not be given a refund

Amazing!!! Daughter is Celiac... She said she just ate the best sandwich of her life!
I had a ham and cheese croissant and a cream puff. The croissant was nice but the cream puff was amazing. However the guy working there was absolutely obnoxious and totally unhelpful.
Yes
Very good but it was pricey. I had a croissant and blueberry pie. Wish I could afford more.
Yes
GF but not suitable if you have other food allergies. Manager begrudgingly answered questions about ingredients. Maybe don’t work in specialty cafe if you are annoyed about ingredient questions. However, chef was very friendly. But missed allergy requests and food did not come out as ordered. If gluten only concern, it might work for you but skip if you have other food concerns. Food tasty but only decent not fabulous.

Amazing! Everything is 100% gluten free and delicious. We tried the quiche, coconut tart and cream puff - all were light texture and amazing. You wouldn’t have known any were gluten free. The cream puff was so delicious that my 10 year old son asked for another! It is expensive, but the quality and safety is worth it.
Yes
Tried a cream puff and mini baguette. Delicious but VERY overpriced. Would have purchased more things to try if it was more affordable.
Amazing! All gluten free and all so good! We had already prepared sandwiches on the best gluten free bread we have ever had! Tried a few pastries which were delicious! Cannot wait to go back and order food especially the crepes! Very, very small inside but worth the trip for such high quality gluten free food!
Generally excellent (pricey) food. Delicious pastries--loved the eclairs, tarte au chocolat, chocolate muffin, and breads including baguettes! But had a soggy cold sandwich bun, and brownies were dry and crumbly. $50 for lunch for 2
This place was safe, but honestly only okay. It was expensive and not that great.

This place is a GEM! I will return the next time we come to NYC, the kitchen is small and it takes a little while to cook your food but it is worth the wait!!!

UPDATED: just had the pancakes! Wow! I eat the burgers at lunch (very tasty). The pancakes for brunch are so delicious. Light, fluffy with just the right crispness in the outside and a fruit compote that wasn’t overly sweet. Wonderful balance. Also shared the frittata which was chuck full of veggies, bacon and some cheese. The food is just delicious by any measure whether you are gluten free or not.
Dedicated facility. I love the eclairs. I saw there was a poor review for one. It must have been an off day for the baker because this place is delicious. The pecan tart, lemon tart and chocolate peanut butter cookies are my favorites in addition to the eclairs. I am less enamored by the lemon loaf and such. But before Celiac disease I never was partial to that sort of stuff. I also enjoy the savory food. I eat lunch here about once a week. The people who work here: Martin, Hazel, Kim and Maria to name a few are kind and helpful. It’s a wonderful place to go if you are in the neighborhood.

Everything was gluten free and delicious, the staff members were all so friendly and kind!

Being gluten free and dining out is always a challenge. This little gem is easy because it’s a dedicated gluten free kitchen. I will say it is expensive... French Toast $14 / Spinach & Feta quiche $15. The food however was delicious. It’s an open kitchen and chef Kim was very welcoming chatting with patrons . They had so many choices and the store front is tiny. When back in NY I will try the other items.

The staff was very helpful and the selection was awesome. Baked goods and savory items were delicious. Also loved the hot tea-perfect for a fall day. We will plan to go there again next time we are in that part of town!

Amazing food. Cute little spot. We tried them in Paris and honestly this one is much better. We had burgers and I don't like gluten free buns but my wife has to eat them. The bun was fantastic and so was the burger.
Yes
I can not speak highly enough about the perfectly seasoned, beautifully baked, and cooked to perfection foods here. I had lunch and took a pastry to go.
Yes
Get the eclair!!!! Oh my god it is so good. I also really love the pound cakes they do. I initially went there because I heard they do gluten free croissants. They’re pretty good! Not as flakey as I would want, but that’s pretty hard to achieve without the gluten. If you come here, be prepared to spend a bit more than usual. I’m only giving it 4 stars because I think it’s a bit overpriced.
Went for brunch today. Wasn’t sure what to expect. Ordered several things to try...ham and cheese with fried egg, garlic avocado toast with poached eggs, pancakes and a chocolate muffin. The muffin was delicious, my son devoured it. The pancakes were delicious as well. The ham and cheese was the standout, although the egg was over cooked. The poached eggs on my avocado toast were completely over cooked, basically hard boiled eggs. They were quickly replaced.
I purchased a bunch of baked goods to try at home. I snuck a bite of the lemon cake ($7) in the car and was super disappointed. Although it was a generous slice, there was little to no lemon flavor.
Everything looked beautiful and the actual food was good. The execution on the dishes could have been better. Glad I tried it and hope my other sweet treats are good.

Little shop with glutenfree food. Nice cookies and a little pasta to go!
Quality GF sendwiches. Great natural lemonade too.

A fabulous find in NYC! Visited in December 2017..We stopped by for a treat and ended up taking supper to go. A very large selection of baked goods and menu items -all were delicious and safe for me to eat. My nonGF family members also enjoyed. Worth the trek.
Yes
I found this place extremely underwhelming and overpriced for basic pastries. Everything I tried was dry and didn’t have anything special about it. Try one of the other gf bakeries in the area.
Yes
The eclairs are so incredibly good. I can’t tell the difference between them and all gluten eclairs. I am celiac and the whole bakery is gluten free. What a delight. The brioche rolls are also good. The small baguettes I was less impressed with they are a bit dry. The carrot cake was good. My husband who eats gluten says the macaroons were awesome.
