I couldn't eat there because they do nothing to prevent CC and do not educate their staff. I got a different story on the phone when I called ahead. That always annoys me :(
I don't know if it was just because they had only just opened a couple of months when we had visited there but their staff had no idea what Gluten Free was! They were suggesting things that were not gluten free and when we asked them which ones are, they just said be safe and stick with salads. Ummm we didnt go to NOODLES AND COMPANY to eat a salad! We were inquiring about the sauces and they had no idea what gluten was, what celiac was, the concept of cross contamination etc. So we like spent 10 minutes explaining to 3 of their staff what Celiac's disease was and why they need to be completely Gluten Free! I mean if they were going to advertise that they are a gluten-free friendly place and list themselves in celiac friendly lists they should at least educate their staff first! On top of that, they messed up our order and didn't add the meat (chicken) we had asked onto my husbands plate, so i gave him a few slices from mine while I flagged down the manager passing by (we came from the gym and were both in dire need of protein). I was explaining their mistake and the manager interrupts me then looks at me all sarcastic and tells me that my husband is eating the chicken right now and rolls his eyes. I almost punched him in the gut. We never came back there, as the food wasn't really anything special (seriously I could have cooked all that crap better what was the point in going there), the servings were small and the people were clueless.
Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs with gf noodles. They brought it out to me and told me there was gluten in the meatballs. They offered to make me something else but I just ate it anyway. It was delicious but I definitely ate gluten.
very knowledgable and have a allergy menu. was informed on my last visit that the regular chicken breast is now stored in vegetable broth which contains gluten. shrimp, steak, and tofu were gf meat options. pad Thai w/ shrimp is my favorite.
Most the menu can be subtitled with GF noodles. They also have several Thai dishes with rice noodle. They will tell you what toppings a GF and used separate gloves and prep table for the GF dishes you can see the prep line.
Noodles & Co. has an extensive gluten-free menu. Most pasta dishes can be made gluten free with either fazolli or rice noodles. I usually substitute meatballs with steak too. The tomato basil bisque is also gluten free and delicious. I eat at this location frequently!
Ate here once 6 months ago, enjoyed it, didn’t get sick, lots of options with GF pasta or rice pasta.
Ordered their Pad Thai online which is naturally gluten free but I wrote online that it needed to be gluten free anyway. when I sat down to eat it I FOUND A NOODLE IN MY PAD THAI. I was appalled. they refunded it and gave me a new one
Noodles is always a great GF option. The staff at this location are always friendly and make sure I don’t order a dish that isn’t gluten free. I was given a little pamphlet that shows which dishes are safe and which aren’t. When you inform them that you are gf they have to swipe a card to approve it, which to me is an extra step they take to make sure it doesn’t get messed up. You should download their app as well to get great deals and free dishes/desserts. The classic butter noodles are my favorite!

The Pad Thai is really good and the only thing I think I'll get from now on. Other dishes let you swap out the pasta for gluten free fusili noodles. My dish called for spaghetti noodles which I asked to be made gluten free. About halfway thru my meal I noticed some spaghetti noodles hiding in my gf fusili. I let them know and they offered to remake my meal. I paid for their mistake dearly over the course of the night and I only have a sensitivity!
Told the staff I was gluten-free when I placed my order. Asked if my menu item was gluten-free, was told yes with either the rice noodles or the fusilli. I questioned again if the sauce would be safe and was told yes so I went and ahead and ordered. When I got to the bottom of my bowl I found two regular elbow macaronis and when I confronted the staff member, the other employee said oh you told her that that item was gluten-free? So I was then told that the sauce was not gluten-free and they could give me no explanation as to why regular pasta was found at the bottom of my bowl as well. I spoke to the manager she refunded my credit card but that still doesn’t change the fact that I will now be sick for the next few days. Her only response to me was the girl who took my order was new and that she would review again the allergen menu, to which I said that is not good enough and that is not going to prevent me from being sick now for the next few days. Stay away from here. Not safe!!
Originally when I ordered, the staff didn't know what celiac was, or what on their menu was gluten free, but after a lengthy discussion with their manager, we finally figured it out and they were very helpful. They even found and gave me a little Gluten Free at Noodles and Co. handout. Food was delicious. Overall, this was a positive experience, it was just a bit disappointing to have to have such a long conversation with them to get my problem across.
The staff knew what they were doing. However, we did order a pasta dish with gluten free pasta but they brought it out with bread crumbs. They fixed their mistake and gave us a coupon for a free dish next time. You can get cross tam here but the food is yummy and I didn’t have an issue. There is a gluten free menu online.
The staff is knowledgable or willing to grab the binder which explains which dishes are celiac friendly. Do not get the chicken as it's made on the same range non-celiac friendly food is! Some staff is unaware of this, but otherwise great staff, very easy to work with!
On previous visits, we have not had any problems, when I explained that my daughter has celiac and must avoid cross-contamination. The staff has been really accommodating, changing gloves, and carefully preparing the gf noodles away from the regular noodles. During our most recent visit, however, despite being assured that all precautions would be taken, my daughter pulled a long spaghetti noodle (definitely not gluten free) out of her gf fusilli. We were very disappointed, as our safe gluten free options are limited in Bel Air.
They do not have separate pans for their gluten free food. When I went, I had regular pasta noodles mixed in with my gluten free ones. If you are trying to cut back on eating gluten, this could work for you. However, if you need to avoid gluten for allergy or celiac purposes, I highly do not recommend going here.
I have celiac and am highly sensitive to cross-contamination. The staff was very knowledgeable and ensured me that they used separate pans and equipment to make my food. They offer a rice pasta and a gluten free fusilli which they can use to make pretty much anything on the menu including the pad thai. They do have a disclaimer saying they cannot guarantee no cross-contamination (as does every restaurant), but I wouldn’t be too worried about that since they do take many precautions to ensure the food is safe. I had the pesto with fusilli and it was absolutely delicious!
I ordered the penne rosa gf and asked how they cooked the pasta to make sure it wasn't with the gluten pasta (as I've been to restaurants do that) and they said, it's separate. I loved it and wanted something for lunch the next day so asked if they could make the buffalo mac and cheese. They said no bc the chicken has a crust but if I was will to wait a little they would bake the chicken and it wouldn't touch the grill. I did wait and it was good, even as a left over. They were very careful with my dinner and I'd go back.
Good rice noodles, but never consistent. Ive ordered chicken on the noodles and mistakenly got crusted twice. They do not understand the concept of gluten allergy. They have almost seemed annoyed when I tell them its an allergy when they ask. Update: ate there today and there was crust pieces in my bowl, have been sick the rest of the day.
They used to be GF celiac safe, and some are, but this particular location is bad about it. I find a stray noodle in my pasta more often than not, and when I've asked about it, I get a long lecture about how they can't make guarantees and "corporate has actually told us to worry less about it." If you are celiac with extreme sensitivity I wouldn't recommend this noodles location. Go to Austin landing instead.
They have 2 regular GF options, which are amazing. I love them both!! You can substitute the noodles for GF ones for any meal, but be warned of the sauces, if you do this option, as they may not be GF. They mark your food as an allergy, so they are knowledgeable if you talk to a manager (don't trust the teenager behind the till).
Ordered gf pasta with marinara and grilled chicken for my gf/DAIRY free grandson (his juvi-arthritis acts up when he eats these things) I told this to the counter girl. Didn't realize until I got home that they had sprinkled it with Parmesan cheese!
They were well aware of cross contamination. I was able to eat safely and they were good to me. I got a shrimp dish that was a bit on the spicy side because I didn't realize that when I ordered it. Overall, I'll probably stop here again if I need to eat in Missoula.
Two years ago I found a full gluten pasta noodle at the bottom of my dish and was ill shortly after. Today we braved a second try and I was given the wrong dish. I type this as I wait for the stomach cramps, vomiting, and diarrhea to start. The staff takes no precautions and I have been glutened on both my visits.
I found a piece of gluten pasta in my dish, mixed in with the GF fusilli. Luckily I hadn't started eating yet. I encountered the same problem at a different Noodles location (that time I did get very sick) so I avoid all locations now. Definitely not safe for Celiacs.
