Absolutely fantastic!!!! HUGE GF menu including the most amazing carrot cake for dessert. I have not had carrot cake in 5 years and it's my favorite. I got the chicken piccata and it was delicious. I literally can't say enough. The waitess brought me warm GF bread with olive oil....and they are super clean and very nice!

This place is fantastic!! There is an entire Gluten Free Menu. A full menu not just salads or burgers! Chicken parm, scallops, lots of G F pasta plus lots of good sides plus desserts not just ice cream. Staff is knowledgeable about GF. And kitchen understands cross contamination. Very good will come again. Fresh food nothing canned. Prices are good considering the large portions. Will not be disappointed

Amazing! Our waitress was so accommodating when she found out that I was the GF one out of our party of 6. She brought me GF bread to start and even asked if I needed separate dipping oil. When I ordered she verified that it was gluten free. They even had a separate person drop off my meal and he verified again it was gluten free. I’ve never been out to eat and felt so normal! Such a great experience!

I wish I had a gluten tester like the other reviewer, because after eating here I ended up becoming VERY ILL for a long time and the only thing I could think of was they must've fed me straight up gluten. Yes, the way they behave in the front of house make you feel safe, and the gf selection is huge, but whatever is actually going on in the kitchen is NOT safe for Celiacs in my opinion. I don't think I've ever been sicker in my entire life like I was after eating here. I struggled with writing this review, but I feel like reviews like this are important because places like this are why I never eat out anymore.

I'm so sorry but I'm going to have to give this rating. The menu looked great; huge gf. The food looked good. The staff was amazing. Chef and 2 managers talked to us. First dish came back with gluten after testing with Nima. 5/6 of us had already eaten. Tested next 5 dishes. All had some gluten (one was high). Tested this later with EZ gluten strips. Same result. May be from airborne flour. They are trying very hard and want to do this right but something went wrong. 4 of us had small reactions the next day but were minimum bc we only ate one thing. Could have been worse.

Never had a problem when eating here. Awesome gluten free rolls and you're not heavily restricted to what you can eat. Will certainly be a loyal customer! Worth the 40 minute drive for me.

So, I did get glutened here, but I really don't think it is something that normally happens. That is why I am still giving them a 4 star.

Ordered the Ahi Tuna Wontons. Someone in the kitchen made a mistake and they put regular soy sauce on it. They actually caught the error, but not in time. The manager came out asked me how sensitive I was. I have celiac, so, pretty sensitive. He was very upset that it happened. Our whole meal was free and he took my number to call me the next day to see how I was.

We are always taking chances when we go to any restaurant. I really appreciated their honesty and they really could have not said anything to me at all, butnthey made a point to come and talk to me and I was really disappointed, but I could tell they were all very disappointed too. Even the server was so apologetic. I would still recommend this place, but if you get any Asian flavored food, make sure it is GF soy sauce.

Side note: The GF onion bread and oil dip is amazing.

We were visiting the area and found the this great restaurant. They have gluten free onion roll bread and an olive oil/Parmesan dip that is awesome. I would come back just for the bread/dip. I ordered the Burger and green beans. Burger was great the green beans were fair. I also ordered a GF Carrot Cake to take home. Friends that did not eat GF eat the Mustard Crusted Chicken and said it was great. Will definitely come back if ever in the area.

The food was great! I am gluten sensitive and got a plate of Mac and cheese with grilled chicken which was terrific and my brother who has celiac had a burger with a side of Mac and cheese. The only reason I'm giving a 4/5 is because the service was pretty slow considering it was later and their were very few others in the restaurant. 👍👍

The bread with the dipping oil was worth the visit. I had the scallops which were very good but if it wasn't for the bread I would have left hungry as it was a very small meal. The other diners with me weren't as happy with their meals (not gluten free meals). The salmon was dry (which I have had before and I agree) and I was told the beef dish was tough.

GF menu was offered as we were being seated without us even asking. We had awesome warm rolls with Parmesan dipping oil. Waiter checked to see if fries were GF but were not as he said there was no dedicated fryer. Burger was really good with garlic mashed potatoes. Lots of options here! Will be returning

One of my top two favorite places!! I've never had a bad meal or experience here. Their gluten-free bread is to die for and their gluten-free menu goes on for miles. The management is very concerned with gluten-free customers and usually bring the meals to you. I only got sick once, which was my own fault. I ordered the side of rice which has dairy in it; and I am also lactose intolerant! Whoops. Other than that there is nothing to complain about. Their takeout is just as consistent as their eat-in service. Never had any CC issues, although they sometimes forget to take cheese out of my order! The Waldorf salad and Grilled Chicken Sandwich are my favorites! Highly recommended.

My favorite gluten free restaurant by far! They have lots of options.... many more than most restaurants! They are very careful and attentive. The gluten free rolls are awesome and most of the time they bring them to me without me even asking! I see that they recently added gf carrot cake to the menu, too!

Not Your Average Joe's was definitely a good experience. I was so excited to get rolls before my meal like everyone else always does. I've never been to a restaurant that offer gluten free rolls before a meal. That alone was enough for five stars, because of the extra thought that went into the planning of the gf menu. Besides the rolls, my meal was excellent. I got the turkey blt. The turkey was cooked perfectly and the bread was delicious. the best part was that I did not get glutened!

Great experience here. Staff was super knowledgeable and asked about allergies right after seating us. Waitress got me a gluten free menu after I told them about being Celiac. Waitress also knew I couldn't have fries because of cross contamination. I got the mustard crusted BLT. It was definitely safe and gluten free. Tasted fine, not amazing. Green beans as a side were so good though. The menu had a ton of other options. Everything is pretty pricey, but it was nice to know I could eat my meal safely! Would definitely go back and try something else.

I always have a great experience here they are always on top of it with allergies asking upon everyone ordering. As soon as I made them aware of my allergy they brought AMAZING GF bread rolls with separate dipping oil and a gluten free menu. The GF menu has lots of options. Personally I get the kids GF Mac and cheese and it comes in an adult portion absolutely perfect !

And of course now I am horribly sick. Please do not go here - you can’t trust them.
