Great and consistent gf although their options have changed recently.

It's a relief to go here, though you pay a bit more, that's no surprise. Every been several times and have always been served by the chef or very particularly by a lead server. More recently they offer a roll, which I appreciate. Pasta is great, salmon was good (a bit of an odd combo - squash, pesto, salmon), burger (yum), tried their carrot cake - they didn't let this thaw properly, it was 'ok' - a bit to sugary like some GF stuff tends to be. I don't recall getting sick, but I did have a rough morning after my most recent visit, can't be sure it was NYAJ's. I'll definitely be back there.
SO YUMMY! Best bread for the table I've ever had. They even made me a gluten free dairy free lobster roll!!!!!!!!!! Also the sorbet was amazing. However I did feel kinda iffy the next day so I am not sure if this restaurant was the culprit or not (thats why it lost its 5th star)
They went out of their way to accommodate my son's Celiac but he got sick anyways.

Not bad. Way overpriced.

Food was terrific. GF haddock was awesome. Great service as well.
Waitress was helpful, but food came from a teenage food runner, not the manager or my waitress who I think said "no soy included" and ran away. I had to flag down my waitress to make sure the kitchen got the gluten allergy. She did, but still no manager. Food was gross. Chicken was like rubber. This is the first time I've ever sent my food back in a restaurant and it was my birthday. I've been to other locations and had better luck, but I won't be returning here.

Best GF dining experience since having to go gluten-free! Wonderful waitress, too.

The food is FANTASTIC and I love that they have a dedicated GF menu. However, atmosphere is not so much fun. More of an eat and get out of there place, it's a little cold.
Offered GF menu by host and GF rolls arrived unprompted. Wide variety of choices and excellent food!

Many excellent GF options and the staff always understands "celiac" and "need to be very careful" and I did not have to belabor the point. LOL
Had a giant family birthday party here back in January (i was visiting again) and 3 of us are GF. Ease in ordering, careful attention to prep....and good food.
Love the Joe's. Wish I had one near me in NY.

Great gluten free options and accommodating staff.
Great experience here. Staff was super knowledgeable and asked about allergies right after seating us. Waitress got me a gluten free menu after I told them about being Celiac. Waitress also knew I couldn't have fries because of cross contamination. I got the mustard crusted BLT. It was definitely safe and gluten free. Tasted fine, not amazing. Green beans as a side were so good though. The menu had a ton of other options. Everything is pretty pricey, but it was nice to know I could eat my meal safely! Would definitely go back and try something else.

Awful gf burger, limited gf sides. Felt like I ate gluten afterwards. Will never eat there again!

Server was careful about gf. Mustard crusted chicken sandwich was okay, but the gluten free rolls for appetizer and with the sandwich were the best I’ve ever had!

I always have a great experience here they are always on top of it with allergies asking upon everyone ordering. As soon as I made them aware of my allergy they brought AMAZING GF bread rolls with separate dipping oil and a gluten free menu. The GF menu has lots of options. Personally I get the kids GF Mac and cheese and it comes in an adult portion absolutely perfect !

I ordered gluten free pasta and was given the regular gluten pasta. They told me about their error after I ate my meal.
And of course now I am horribly sick. Please do not go here - you can’t trust them.
