I can't give dining-in or ordering details because my Mom ordered over the phone & my bro picked it up. But the food (loaded potato skins) was delicious. 😋 (Though in the To Go setup, they didn't really have enough sour cream, in my opinion, in the little container. But at least since I was eating at home, I just used some of ours.
They have a pretty decent selection if you check the Nutrition/Allergen Info section on their website (Steak, ribs, several appetizers & sides, salads, I assume burgers too if ordered bunless, etc. Supposedly their soups too, though I recommend asking to make sure). Although confusingly, they tell when things contain wheat, then add "May contain gluten". And there are a few items where they say only one but not the other. lolwut? 😅
They should just say "wheat/gluten" as a single combination entry. But at least they seem thorough about many other major allergens too. They disclaim that while they make their best effort to separate everything, cross-contamination is still a risk since they also make lots of foods with wheat flour (shared fryer for breaded items so the fries are labeled as containing gluten, etc). I appreciate the honesty.
But anyway, I overheard Mom on the phone with them, & after hanging up she remembered that I'm also FODMAP sensitive (with exceptions), & called them back to make sure to not include the green onion sprinkling she realized was listed on them (though I was in bed & couldn't tell her that I'm usually ok with the green parts; it's the white bulb/main onion area that contains the bulk of harmful fructans, which was why I didn't bother her about it on my earlier-arranged order note). But they honored her request, no green onions, & my order was separated from the others'.
I had no bad reactions; I felt fine & full (a little TOO full; I should've saved the last one for later, LOL, but it was so yummy). Though that also could be because I took GlutenEase Extra Strength, just to be on the safe side (Disclaimer: It's not for just going around eating wheat-containing foods like normal; it's a safety net for minor cross-contamination to prevent symptoms, but gut inflammation can still silently happen).
Overall, I'm satisfied (& the rest of the family loved their food too, yay!). They could just use some clarity with their allergen menu (because that might confuse staff as well as customers), & more sour cream in the To-Go box for loaded potato skins appetizer. I loved the yummy food, & appreciated them going out of their way for me. 😄
Our server was great so this is not directed at him at all. However, the hostess had to go ask the manager for a gluten free menu - and 15 mins later no manager, no menu. I just pulled it up online.
Food was mediocre at best. And it took 5 mins to be seated when there were literally less than 10 people in the entire restaurant.
Just miss the O’Charleys of old
I can’t really give it any stars bc I didn’t go in, and I’m not sure why it’s on this app. They don’t have anything labeled gluten-free on the menu, and when I called to see if they had gluten-free buns or bread or pasta, they said no. So I’m pretty sure all you can eat here is salad! (and bring your own dressing 😆)
