FYI I don't have GI symptoms, so I can't know if there was cross contamination, but I wanted to post my experience since there is so little information out there about Albania. The waitress spoke English, and I also had a card explaining celiac disease in Albanian. She was aware of gluten intolerance and pointed out on the menu what I could have

The food is traditional Albanian food and was delicious! My sister, who is vegetarian, had no problem finding something to eat (and now regularly makes Albanian style stuffed peppers for herself because she liked them so much).
