The tiny kitchen areas is visible from the cash register.last time. when a friend went there, she said they use the same toaster for gluten and non gluten products. she spoke to the owner and he now has a sign posted indicating that they're not celiac friendly. If you order a gluten free sandwich, they normally will prepare it on a separate piece of paper. However, only a couple of the older staff follow these policies. It's important that you watch everything that they do while preparing food to make sure that they select from the correct case, use the paper, and don't cross contaminate. My grandson was 'glutened' by a young server who gave him the wrong bread in an order that specified only gluten free items for 4 people. A couple of bites into his sandwich, he realized something was wrong, but of course it was too late. This was the first time something had happened there. Again, the older women working there seem to be careful and concerned, our younger server was actually annoyed and defiant. So, if you must eat here, be watchful.
