Stopped by for a snack. We had the GF carrot cake and broccoli cheddar soup with a side of GF bread. Both were delicious. Will definitely stop by for some sandwiches in the future.
I have no idea why they have a gluten dedicated location down the street but still keep gluten filled stuff in their gluten free bakery. They dont care a fig for cross contamination and one time gave my mother a gluten sour dough and said it was gluten free. I was sick for a week. This just goes to show ya just because something says GF it doesn't mean it is safe.
Don't know what all the negative reviews about. They assured me they have a separate area for GF and they definitely take precautions for celiacs. I'm celiac and did not get sick. Their Samoa cupcake was the best cupcake I've ever had. EVER.
Not safe for celiacs. They have some gluten free produce on site but food prepared here is not safe. Grill for eggs is also used for wheat bread and they do not keep things separate.

The Gluten Free Bakery (Our Daily Bread) is a dedicated gluten-free facility that shares a space with this cafe. The cafe serves both gluten-free and gluten-containing items. The staff seems knowledgeable about Celiac’s disease and assured us that they work hard to avoid cross-contamination. After two meals there, we feel confident they are true to our word. A nice place for breakfast or lunch, or to take away some of their gluten-free breads and baked goods. Items from their regular bakery are also available.

What a shame! Yes there are plently of 'GF' options here for those that are not concerned with cross-contamination. However if you live a strict gluten free life, eating here isn't worth it! Not only are the operators careless about their food handling the product is less than stellor. Don't be tempted by their GF bagels, they are dry, flavorless and even with cream cheese, a chocking hazard! Not sure what I expected, knowing that the building they produce out of has been used for glutenous baking for 20+ years! Skip it!

Not really dedicated. They do have a case that contains only gluten free goods. The tiny kitchen areas is visible from the cash register.last time. when a friend went there, she said they use the same toaster for gluten and non gluten products. she spoke to the owner and he now has a sign posted indicating that they're not celiac friendly. If you order a gluten free sandwich, they normally will prepare it on a separate piece of paper. However, only a couple of the older staff follow these policies. It's important that you watch everything that they do while preparing food to make sure that they select from the correct case, use the paper, and don't cross contaminate. My grandson was 'glutened' by a young server who gave him the wrong bread in an order that specified only gluten free items for 4 people. A couple of bites into his sandwich, he realized something was wrong, but of course it was too late. This was the first time something had happened there. Again, the older women working there seem to be careful and concerned, our younger server was actually annoyed and defiant. So, if you must eat here, be watchful.

Let them know that you have an allergy or Celiac and they will make note for kitchen. I saw cook change his gloves for my sandwich. GF bread and baked goods are great. Soup and sandwich were delicious. FYI: it was a solely vegetarian menu when I was there.

**There are TWO ODB's within a mile of one another ... The DELI, has gf sandwiches available but not much else. The BAKERY&CAFE has LOTS of gf options including banana pancakes! YUM! Haha and have gf bread of all varieties for sale $5 a loaf!! And it is AWESOME!!! Just note that there are TWO so be careful on which you chose
MANAGER ADMITTED NOT CELIAC SAFE BECAUSE IT'S NOT FINANCIALLY VIABLE WHEN CONFRONTED!!! "The locals we cater to all know we use a special paper wrapper for GF bread" was the flippant response we received before the complaint escalated. I wish that I could give less than 1 star after the experience I just had. After telling the employee helping them that they needed everything to be gluten free, ordering a birthday cake for my husband, picking out cookies, and then purchasing a loaf of sourdough bread, it was never explained or mentioned to my mother-in-law that there was anything with gluten in the store, since their regular bakery is just up the street within easy walking distance. (WHY WOULD YOU CARRY & SLICE REGULAR BREAD AT A BAKERY THAT HAS GLUTEN FREE IN ITS NAME?!?!) The staff is ignorant about cross-contamination, and by not verifying that the NON-LOCAL they were serving understood that they offer mixed products without clear labels or signs to indicate, I am forced to miss work due to the severity of my celiac reaction. We had quietly been annoyed with the rude, eye-rolling girl who had served us on a previous visit, but even the manager was immediately defensive and rude about the situation when my husband called. The worst part is that there was absolutely no remorse or apology for the assumptions or miscommunications made.

Have witnessed cross contamination. Certainly not celiac friendly. I wish they would address that.

I was given non-gluten free bread with my lunch. Food was prepared on the same cutting board, press, etc. as items containing gluten. This is not dedicated gluten free.
